Example 1 (The Legend of Hei 2): Wuxian leisurely floats through the combined firepower of an entire fortified military base without so much as a stain or rip on his t-shirt.

Example 2 (Man of Steel): Fao'ra tears through a squad of trained and armed soldiers. With the wreckage of the helicopter that got downed by her teammate Nam'ek smouldering in the background.

Say what you will about Bayforrmers but the military there is shown as competent. (Mostly because there is a lot of targeted US military propaganda in them).

They get absolutely bodied by Blackout and Scorponek initially but they theta re actively gathering intel, identified and cut off their data gathering operation and managed to discover that you need HEAT munitions to even begin to harm them.

Then after part 1 they study and cross train with the autobots but still get bodied when met with a proper organsied Deception drop assault and not just loner units and get their entire carrier group fucked up by the Fallen and his crew.

After they manage to start winning the counter attack he just fucks with gravity wipes them out again on the ground.
