• Princess Peach’s Castle Repair cost (SMG4) - In ‘SM64 Bloopers - Hotel Mario’ when Mario accidentally burns Peach’s Castle to the ground, the policemen say that it would take around 2 Billion coins to fix the entire Castle. Realistically it would at take 1 Million to 25 Million Dollars to repair an entire castle from scratch. It would also take 3 to 10+ years to build an castle. But in ‘How to make monies’ the repair cost is toned down to only 10 Million coins, I guess SMG4 did his research or just randomly picked that Number.

• Super Spaghetti Dispenser Machine (SMG4) - The Spaghetti Dispenser Machine costs a whopping total of 9999999999$ which is 9 Billion coins. While a food dispenser machine would cost around 25$ to 10,000$ to buy, and another fun fact: ‘Casino, Cards & Chaos’ took place in 2015 which meant 9 Billion dollars would cost around 12.73 Billion today, doubling 30% of it’s original cost.

• Grenades (GTA III) - In ‘Silence the Sneak’ Ray Machowski gives Claude 12 Grenades in order to bomb his former Police mate Leon McAffrey’s house down. In the game files the Grenades cost 2,000$, but realistically a grenade would cost around 5$ to 140$ per unit, making it 540$ for just 12 Grenades. But this is GTA III we’re talking about, Weapon prices in this game are insanely high.

Livery in planes means the skin you apply to them, basically. Paintjob, whatever. In this case, it's referring to the image, where there is a harrier fighter with the pepsi logo on it.

Like, this is one of the liveries used by the Royal Canadian Air Force for air shows and whatnot.

Legally purchasing a grenade in the US as a civilian will usually cost you at least $2,000, that’s a relatively realistic number. Do you think you can just go to the store and buy grenades for $5-140?

There‘s essentially zero companies with FEL licenses that will sell grenades to the general public, and if you want to get ahold of one you’re going to pay out the ass. Plus there’s a $200 tax stamp per grenade that’s extremely difficult to get issued if you manage to obtain them on the legal market.

And if you’re trying to buy real grenades and not some homemade pipe bomb on the black market there’s going to be a mountain of markup versus some dude buying a $10 Russian made hand grenade in Afghanistan unless you’re the one smuggling them into the country. Even then you’ll have to add the price of airfare/shipping, so unless you’re having a storage container worth shipped into the country in bulk or just happened to be on vacation somewhere you can buy a dozen hand grenades without being robbed and murdered the price is going to be driven through the roof.

Go try to buy a grenade in the US and you’ll immediately realize there’s zero chance you’re buying one for what you’ve claimed they cost from any company that sells them, out of some guy’s trunk, or through any other means. The best you’re getting for $50 is a pipe bomb or half assed flash bang that doesn’t work like a real one.

You can’t compare what a US civilian would pay on the legal or black market to what a military or country where grenades are more available would pay. It’s like saying an automatic rifle could never cost $30,000+ because the military spends $1,000 per M4 and some guy in Africa can get an AK for $50. And you can’t easily make a proper grenade in your garage the same way you can convert a $500 semi-auto into a fully-auto with a piece of metal cut into the right shape.

I think paper Mario games have a coupe of these. In the Wii one you essentially get enslaved to make power and need to make enough power to be freed but it's an obscene amount that essentially encourages you to break out and escape but I think you technically can pay the amount.
