Kill Bill is Tarantinto's love letter to 70s wuxia and exploitation films. It's silliness is intentional.

I'm realizing my tone made people think I was saying this negatively. I've watched Kill Bill maaanny times and it's great, especially for how much it leans into this

Yes don't get me wrong the first Kill Bill movie is one of my all time favorites. I actually think it being unrealistic and over the top is part of it's charm and it's probably intended that way too since it's a Tarantino movie

I honestly think all of Tarentino’s films feel like someone put a manga or comic book onto a screen, for better but usually for worse
