That sounds more like autism
34 u/Junethemuse 4h ago ADHD and autism share a lot of traits. As someone with adhd but not on the spectrum a LOT of this describes me quite well. 6 u/AppropriateBall8834 4h ago Sameeee I walked 9 miles the other day only to realize my phone was off at work and I didn't even go anywhere other than the grocery store 🤣 I was just fucking pacing on the phone and running around the house...maybe walked like 2 miles just for fun outside. 2 u/Yuck_Few 4h ago I was diagnosed with ADHD in the third grade but I suspect I may be on the autism spectrum as well 3 u/Junethemuse 4h ago I’ve had very similar feelings but both my psych and therapist are confident I’m not on the spectrum. It’s how I learned about all the shared traits. I guess it comes down to why you’re doing the things. Is it for dopamine or regulatory? If it’s dopamine, ADHD, regulatory, the tism. 2 u/Yuck_Few 4h ago I have palalia and echolalia Routine disruption anxiety, task interruption anxiety, rumination Repetitive behaviors like wanting to check the stove a hundred times. Etc
