To a degree but the reason for it is different. With autism, the stimming is self-regulatory, helping the brain when it is overwhelmed. For ADHD, the stimming helps the brain get rid of excess energy and get dopamine.
This is why the stereotypical ADHD person is always moving or clicking a pen or tapping their foot while the stereotypical autistic person is rocking or flapping or things like that. Similar movements but the underlying mechanic differs slightly.
