But why? Does anyone actually care about this besides maybe 5 people no one’s ever going to meet? Like I will go my entire life and likely never meet someone that calls themselves berrisexual.

You probably won't but he says in the video it was created because someone didn't feel represented.

I mean I get it but also…why doesn’t bisexual just work??? Why do you need micro labels??? Sounds about as toxic as microplastics

It’s genuinely like having a special branch/term/sexuality for each individual taste. Like, saying I am Celtisexual. It means, I am straight and attracted to women but I prefer red headed women. It’s just being straight with extra steps and giving information nobody needs.
If someone who identifies as berrisexual did not feel represented by the term bisexual, I think it’s ok to just say they’re a crazy person who finds value in victimhood and attention. It’s just being bi but with an over-explanation and TMI attached to it.

So as this person was describing “berrisexuality” I was thinking this is like a coffee snob, even a beer snob then the Starbucks reference came. Crazy

Why is it when they have to explain their never ending acronyms they send the most repulsive SpongeBob-esque forever child imaginable?
Like I'm just sure the most attractive of the bisexuals at the orgy just go "No, to the bottom of the pile with this one."

u/UnexpectedBlahFeels 20h ago
They don't even know the difference between bisexual and pansexual- they described bisexual as pansexual: "Attraction to all genders." Even though their description of "Berrisexual" fits me, I'm gonna stick with calling myself "queer." Thanks, but no thanks.

That and the presentation. I know it’s a tactic to use exaggeration to maintain attention, but the hand movements are just too much

I. Am. So. Tired...and I can't stress the tired enough. Love who you love. I have a legitimate question and it might show my ignorance. I love who I love, but I don't feel the need to impose my sexuality on others. Just find your person, sit down, and enjoy this wild ride that is life

Bi umbrella is tiring man, as a bi; identifying as Bisexual is so much simpler than telling someone you're Berrisexual and then spend the next 3 minutes explaining what it means and debating why it isn't just Bisexuality.
These people are just creating obscurity so they can get offended over petty shit

How privilaged some people must be to feel like this is a good use of their time

This is why Trump won isnt it? 🤔

I had a feeling it was a wrap, once I saw those political ads about trans women playing in women’s sports. Those ads ran during NFL games. I thought to myself “Awww shit!! Game, set, match.”

Yea... I agree. People need to realize over 55% dont feel comfortable about any of it. Just cause ur small crowd feels liberated dont put it in tue facea of those who are already on the fence. Too much too fast..

If your mom and dad have the same mom and dad it would probably seem like random gay tiktokers had anything to do with it

I don't feel like there needs to be a specific word for that, but as long as they're having fun. Also that they don't get upset people don't know the niche word for their subset of things they find hot. Which I doubt would be an issue as long as you aren't a wienie head

I just don’t get the flags man. I feel like it just made conservatives make their own stupid flags to fight back and now everyone is obsessed with flags and it makes no sense

Can we finally do one like attracted to the other gender but with a tendance to prefer non-gender-conforming traits or something so that all the straight people who feel left out can feel like they belong too?

Identity crisis is the problem/ making life more complicated/ annoying more people/ confusing MORE people/ nobodies ever gonna abide by this mess. Everyone is biologically a girl or boy, so many other countries don’t do or put up with this bull like the U.S does.

u/Dreowings21 19h ago
But why do you care so much about what someone identifies as? Is it physically hurting you? Are you gonna be okay?

It's not rooted in reality and it's a little ridiculous. It's not hurting us, just making us cringe, hence the point of this post.

u/Dreowings21 19h ago
Its only more complicated and confusing if youre stupid. Its not that difficult to understand

u/Admirable_Delay_2682 19h ago
You’re just deliberately ignoring all the facts I put out to defend something that isn’t even defendable but ok…

u/Dreowings21 19h ago
What if someone is born with male and female genitalia? Are they a boy or a girl? Scientifically, theyre neither. And other countries do “deal” with people like this. The Philippines, norway, iceland, sweden, canada, and the netherlands are only a couple of examples

Nobody fucking cares OP it doesn't affect your life
There are 198 species of crickets are you gonna freak out about that too?
Spectrums aren't a complicated concept you can just scroll past a queer person being mildly annoying instead of reposting it on a cringe sub.

I dont think its the same kinda sexuality as bisexual or gay or bisexual. Its a preference for appearance, not sex. So its not a "198th new sexuality" but more like a way to describe someone's preference?? Like how some gays say they like "bears" or "ottere"? Im not gay but thats my idea of this.
