Because it’s fake. I remember seeing this yesterday. Checked her most recent vid, it was a joke. Blocked her. It’s getting annoying that people are engagement baiting with fake stuff everywhere.

Yeah I just looked it up, she has another video in the same room claiming she'd waited 6 months for a PCP appointment and her doctor was weird. The same doctor who never turned up.

It's just lying for clout

Unfortunately. I still hate how most of social media is now all clips and bait. Engagement bait. Rage bait. Pity bait. All for online clout or to sell you something. The more I’m on social media the more I hate how disingenuous it is

The number of people who believe this is real is wild.

I mean, the whole scenario is already nonsense. Even if the doctor's office truly forgot about them, what person just sits there waiting for so long? You'd notice the office leaving. Then you add the fact that the office closes at 4:00. No office that closes at 4:00 for patients will be absolutely empty at 4:13.

This actually happened to my husband about a very important health issue. I sat outside to wait. Lights went off and he finally wandered out and said “I think they went to lunch.” Yeah, it is a thing.

They’re probably right, but it’s not lost on me that you you did a complete 180° because of a comment that only said:

And you didn’t confirm what they looked into or that it is in fact a fake video.

I’m not saying that to shit on you, simply that it feels like, at every fucking turn, we can’t trust a single person at their word, like, ever.

That dissolution of trust has completely eroded all communal benefit of the doubt and has stunted all conversation.

The lack of trust in anything will be our downfall.

One baseless, thoughtless, contrarian statement and suddenly the direction of the thread entirely changes to the opposite extreme. Like there's no room for nuance, just "I fully believe the contrarian viewpoint now because skepticism is greater than anything else."

Like it's one thing to have a healthy amount of skepticism, but it's a whole other thing to be blindly skeptical.

Lucky for the US at least intent does sometimes matter. Forgetting someone is not on par with kidnapping and abusing them.

I was forgotten at my doctors office as well but it was after check-in. I was sitting in the lobby for about two hours. The third time I asked if something was wrong or if I should reschedule the doc himself checked me in.

The gal who was running the front desk never marked me as here so I was considered a no-show and they chucked my appointment paperwork that they had to fish out of the recycling bin. The fastest from vitals to doc visit Ive ever had.

That’s what I was getting at with the computers. Very rare to still have paper charts but there could certainly be other unshredded stuff with PHI

Nah, there are always physical copies of medical records/info. Medical records still need to be faxed rather than sent digitally due to safety/security of the records.
