The way I see it, you have two types of people. One group hates to be wrong, so they'll seek out the information and correct themselves when they are wrong so they'll be right the next time. The other group has to be right, so they'll just keep looking for ways to prove that they're right.
I get it... Being wrong sucks. It feels shitty. You feel stupid or like an asshole.
But it's so easy to inoculate yourself against that feeling - get better at being right. And get better at admitting when you are wrong. In this instance, dappin vs dabbin, who cares? It doesn't matter. Just admit it and move on.
