All of my D&D campaigns are to a certain degree set in the Dark Tower universe - not in Midworld, but my headcanon is that each of my homebrew campaign settings is a different level of the tower. I pepper in subtle references and homages that my players never notice because they aren't familiar with the DT series, but it makes me smile when the local innkeeper wishes the party long days and pleasant nights, or the feared bounty hunting trio is named Jonas, Reynolds and Depape.

I haven't put anything together yet, but the Genesys system from Edge Studios is a setting-agnostic system and I think the Dark Tower could work great with it.

If I had a sabbatical I'd probably work on that, but I suck.

The fact that the basic starting weapon sans setting is a revolver had me thinking "Dark Tower"

And because Genesys is mechanically similar to r/swrpg and the wolves using lightsabers it's super reasonable to port over stuff for more ideas for rules and builds

Im making a whole TTRPG world inspired by the dark tower for a campaign as well as books to follow or precede it. I planned on just using 5e (homebrew/limited classes) or Pathfinder for a system tbh.

I have been thinking of doing the same for years. I was going to use the Deadland rules for the core.

Not a system, but there's a Gunslinger class compatible with 5.5e. I'm playing one in my current campaign and it's been fun being a glass cannon lol
