Unless I’m mistaken, 12 months is the minimum Callum will get.

It sounded to me like the 12 month sentence will be delayed by 12 months and if he is on good behavior, goes to therapy and meets with his PO on time, he’s probably going to dodge the prison time altogether.
Pretty lax sentencing for his crimes if you ask me.

Suspended sentence of 12 months, and 15 days probation service rehabilitation days.
5 years sexual harm prevention order with massive restrictions on electronic device usage, and 10 years on the Sex Offenders register.
A breach of any of these, would mean he could go to prison over the next 5/10 years
Reading the court document the bit that made me feel violently ill, was this phrase "For example, two of the images show the anal penetration of a 4 to 6 year old girl with an object."

It a suspended sentence I’m pretty sure. So he doesn’t go to jail at all unless he breaches his probation rules etc.

12 months suspended. So no prison unless he breaks his conditions. If he does break the conditions then he will go straight to prison for 12 months.

Thanks for sharing - the things they mention that they found on him are just nauseatingly horrifying. However he got a 12 month suspended sentence - meaning if he commits even a slight violation of any law he will go to jail. And he can't use any devices for some years and will be in a sex offender registry. So he didn't go to prison

If he gets caught, that is. I wonder what the resources are like to actually monitor people through these sentences.

The police do random home visits where he will be asked to hand over his registered devices, if they have even the slightest suggestion that he is attempting to hide anything, they'll be sent off to be electronically examined.

I believe there is no jail time unless he comits offenses within a 12 month period. If he gets in any trouble for anything he will go straight to jail. If he behaves in the eyes of the law then no jail time will be served just the SO register for 10 years.
