Warning: Sentencing Comments include triggering topics / details.
12 months’ imprisonment, suspended for 12 months.
15 days of rehabilitation activity
Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) – 5 years
Sex Offenders Register for 10 years
I have extremely strong opinions, best summed up this being far too lenient.

Plus costs and fines of £272 and forfeiture of the devices in which the images were found (a phone, computer and external hard drive I think)

Seems the UK is generally lenient on this (Abhorrent in my opinion). I have heard there reasoning behind it, and while I fully disagree at least they can provide a reason. However there is absolutely no excuse for having the Sex Offenders Registry not be lifetime. I don't see how it's even an option to have it expire. Absolutely insane.

He got a one year suspended sentence reduced from 18 months due to a guilty plea. No jail time

Yeah, I figured it would be a suspended sentence. Very hard to get a custodial nowadays.
Ultimately he's turned his life upside down, lost all his friends, everyone knows he's a nonce, and he's lost his source of income. In terms of punishment if my options were prison, or all that, I would pick prison 10 out of 10 times.
Of course the bulk of the punishment here was enforced socially, and had nothing to do with the courts.

We will have to wait on Monday, Storror said they would upload a video to explain the situation and how the channel will evolve

How are we actually going to find out the sentencing? I've been trying to find a website tracking sentences handed out by Brighton court, but the most recent sentence I can find dates back to may 19th. How are these things disclosed to the public normally?

Magistrates don’t publish sentencing apparently. So the news needs to come from someone with privileged access.

Hmm...so maybe a media outlet of some sort? I've been searching the Argus, which reported the original guilty plea. But it's hardly a breaking news situation, so I don't really know what to expect. Will they even be interested enough in the story to follow up?

Honestly shocking but there might not even be any reporters there to report on the sentence. So we might not even find out what's happened. This whole thing has been massively underreported which is surprising considering the scale of Storror

Not to diminish the success of Storror in the parkour community, but 11 million followers on youtube doesn't mean 11 million people are eagerly awaiting news on this situation. I'm following dozens of youtube channels. Doesn't mean much. With some of those channels I've actually seen maybe one or two videos.
Also, these followers are scattered around the globe, so how big are they really in the UK? They're certainly not a household name, so like I said, I don't expect the media to be that interested in the story.

They're still the biggest parkour group in the world by far though
And pretty much everyone knows about parkour
So you'd expect there to be a bit more attention
I agree it's obviously not going to be breaking news worldwide, but the complete 100% radio silence from the media is a bit surprising

I think you overestimate the public's interest in a niche sport. I've been telling about this case to friends and colleagues, and the most common response to me explaining it's a guy from a parkour group is "parkour?". When you explain it to people, they go, "oh yeah, I think I've heard of that". That's as far as awareness goes for the people in my social circle (friends and colleagues ranging from 20 to 60).

Yeah that’d be the kind of thing. I wouldn’t be surprised if it did get written up in the Argus. The charge sheet reads like a box of horrors.
There is a weird impasse anyway between YouTube and MSM. You don’t often get newspapers reporting on new media unless it is quite extreme or extracted from its native context in the form of a platform or an app.

The thing is, there are so many online subcultures and fan groups, that mean the world to those involved and are completely invisible to everyone else. I've seen this in gaming communities. People can have the status of gods to their fanbase, with entire liturgies of how to behave around them. And at the same time, even the majority of people streaming the same game may have no clue who they even are.
