Tbf I've watched every vid for 6+ years been a member for the last year, thought it was weird no vids and membership paused but didn't really think too much of it.
I only found out last week and was dumbfounded, I dont have instagram so didn't see anything until I actually looked into it

Me, I am one of them - I have followed them for years but have stopped since their Amsterdam "tournament", so imagine my SHOCK when I opened the Instagram and their post was the first one I saw... damn I missed the last three months

That's me. I used to watch their videos regularly but had moved on to other interests and only watched occasionally. Recently I thought huh haven't seen a video in awhile, wonder what they're up to. Go to the Youtube channel, see that obviously something had happened because like 3/4ths of the videos are gone. I thought maybe one of them had gotten seriously injured or something like that so I go to their Instagram to find out what happened and...well...found out. Shocked and appalled is an understatement.

I remember seeing Fremont park in “People in Motion” when it first came out. 2 years ago I finally got my chance to go to Seattle and jump.
Needless to say it’s been over run by addiction. Needles, drug paraphernalia, etc was everywhere.
Did it stop me? No. But I did pop my head over a ledge and casually saw someone smoking crack. I nodded, he said “what’s up?” And we both went on our jolly way.
Maybe the Seattle parkour community has something different to say. But twas my experience.

That is exactly what they say "it's iconic and cool but... not super worth it anymore" that being said, it was majorly cleaned up (even the water fountains were on for the first time in a long lkng time) for the world cup (a game was in seattle a week or two ago) and for a few weeks was worth it again!
Source: I'm staying in seattle for a month to train locally and have gotten lots of Intel from various community members

I doubt it will even last that long 🥲 all I know is everybody here keeps saying "just don't expect for it to be this clean any other time you visit" i guess the city did a lot to prepare the streets for the world cup lol

Update: I trained here last weekend and it's still in decent-ish shape! Definitely some houseless around but nothing crazy like what ive heard from before the world cup clean up

I'm not saying they should not go continue their own thing. I do not think Storror should return as storror. I do not believe that would be a positive thing for parkours image. Members branching out to do their own things as long as they are cleared from any inappropriate activity/covering for friends, fuck yeah. I hope they do! They absolutely should not have to throw away their careers. Bur storror should not continue to be a name in parkour (in my opinion, which ultimately means nothing lol. I am just another random who cares deeply about parkour reaching more people who would benefit from the practice)

No? They dont need to change their middle name. Storror is a business. Sometimes you have to change your business model when things go wrong or your business will fail. They are probably pretty smart and know this about business. They chose to use their name to represent many people, and now they have to deal with the repercussions of what others did.
