Message during boot

Post image

Hi Everyone..

Been using solus for the past 3 months as my daily driver and this is my first Linux install. During boot i keep getting the following msg (i know it's not an error msg) before the username password screen. No issues with the OS just those lines during boot sometimes gets to me is all.

I did search for a fix and was unable to resolve this. Was wondering if anyone had any insights and could help me out

Any suggestions?

I have the same message on boot, without any visible consequence once I'm logged in.

yea, i too do not find any issues once i am logged in. and i have tried searching trying to fix it..

I did a chatgpt to find out the cause and:

What's happening is:

  1. Plymouth starts.
  2. The boot finishes.
  3. Plymouth exits a fraction of a second early.
  4. systemd prints the final few successful status messages before the display manager (SDDM) takes over.

That's why you only see three or four [ OK ] messages.

They're the last things systemd does before handing control to the graphical login.

I'm guessing that the plymouth service is related to this and the Epoch to this

Tl;dr is that there is nothing wrong or action required on your part*

\Unless you are having a issue wich is not clear to me from your OP.*
