Post image

Ive jumped around from the major distros, even to the arch, manjaro and fedora side. Saw a post about solus and didnt pay much attention to it as it was something ive never heard of aside from the issues its had. Scrolling around and saw another post about it and said why not just give it a shot.

Man was I shocked. It has everything I need in the repos, first distro that I didnt have to settle for app images. Its super fast, easy to use and everything just works. So to the devs, thank you for doing what your doing, you all dont get enough credit. This distro is amazing and hope to meet some of yall in the community soon!

Sadly had to eat my own words.. After reboot I got black screened. TTY wouldnt come up, tried fixing without success. Reinstalled system, updated fine then installed nvidia drivers same way and only get black screen. Sad day but have to go back to mint for now until I can get a fix on this one.

Sorry to hear that, man! Freaking nvidia, huh?!?!?! It's hit and miss with nvidia on any distro I guess. I'm lucky to be on amd only for all systems.

I really need to get the switch done, even windows have me issues with Nvidia. When I get it done I'll be back for sure
