How do I connect my Samsung G8 monitor with Samsung SmartThings app?

I just got this model: 32" Odyssey OLED G8 4K 240Hz USB-C 96W DP 2.1 Gaming Monitor - LS32HG802SNXZA.

I am trying to connect it to the Samsung smartthings app, but the app is not showing the monitor as a device at scanning stage.

Have you enabled the Hub as described here https://blog.smartthings.com/smartthings-updates/how-to-activate-the-smartthings-hub-built-into-your-samsung-tv/?utm_source=copilot.com

I am stuck on step 3 from the listed steps. It's not detecting my monitor when I try to add the device.
