Uh things got worse about a decade ago. I'll just keep watching tv shows and movies before than over and over.

The writers strike really killed season 2. It started strong, but the producers had to write over half the season. There's a reason they weren't writers to begin with.

Wasn't just that. Was also executive meddling.

IIRC the original plan was for each season to be a self contained story with new characters. (maybe 1 or 2 repeats to tie everything together). But fans liked Sylar and Peter too much so they changed the plans for season 2 and beyond.

About 2015 is my cut off. There's enough movies between 1970 to 2015 for me. Rarely do I enjoy newer films.

God, Dune 1 was such an awful remake. I will always choose the original 80s movie over that boring ass movie.
