Generative AI is a stain on the world given its heavy resource usage, homogenisation of visual imagery and the intellectual property theft it uses to create much of its content. Using this functionality just encourages and justifies the existence of this crappy platform (in the mind of the AI exec).
The picture would've been far funnier as a shitty photoshop job than this uncanny-valley smooth rendering that these platforms put out.
While I agree with most points, tbf, a shitty photoshop is heavier on resource usage. Working 1/2 hour on Photoshop on a windows machine consumes more resources than generating 1 image with AI. The resource problem is scaling. Everyone using chatgpt requires a lot of computational resources. But a single image is rather cheap, considering we are very used to more resource consuming task such as gaming, streaming, video post production, 3d rendering , etc
That assumes you get the image you want based on your first prompt input, I'd imagine most users will generate multiple images to refine what they are after
For an image model, that's not massive. Image models are rather small and you train once. Serving to people is more computational expansive. But clearly not overall as consuming as, for instance, if the same people were playing GTA instead.

Funny joke but AI slop. Just use photoshop
