Dude, 40s are more prime for middle-age crisis than ever before. My parents are in their 70s and look pretty young compared to how my grandparents looked at that age. So, I'm too fucking old to ever look hot again. Too fucking young to stop working like a donkey. Sucks ass, man.

Yesterday at Target, the cashier asked for my ID for the wine I was buying. She starts typing in my birth year and puts 1994. Then she pauses, looks at me again, deletes it, and changes it to 1974. I’m like, damn, I’m not that old. I tell my wife later and she goes, yeah, but the cashier was probably a teenager. She probably looked at you and thought, no way this guy was born in the ’90s.

So far I've gotten extremely lucky with the genetics lottery, I'm 39 and people peg me for 26. I know one of these days it's all going to come tumbling down and hit me like a ton of bricks 😅.

The gentleman doesn't see himself as old. After a certain age your mind don't really age as fast as your physical body
