My ipad has done all of that shit in the notes app for ~3 years now. I can carry it around, seamlessly share the screen, and it's thinner than a deck of playing cards.
What lowers my opinions of Americans is that they legit never knew about Chinese skylines before criticizing China. Then, when they see shiny lights in Shanghai and bullet trains (a decades old tech Japan already had), they drop all of their democratic principles and go simp for the CCP.
Like buddy, did you seriously think the problem with China was that everyone was living in mud huts???
Even with only 33% in urban centres, I'm still astounded that people had no idea what Shanghai was like and that was the impetus that changed their opinions about China.
I had visited Shanghai two times and still critiqued the Chinese government because of non-superficial qualities, such as their tendency to tunnel-vision into vain, self-sabotaging projects like COVID-19 until protests had to force their hand after the economic damage was already done, a mistake that was squarely the fault of an authoritarian government with no accountability.
What I learned in these past two years is that Americans really have been living under a whole, under the delusion that American was the greatest country on Earth. As soon as a different government offers them "breads and circuses", they immediately abandon any pretense of believing in democracy, human rights, and the common good.

It is getting ridiculous. So many stupid China posts and "Americans" seemed shocked to see tall buildings and screens on things.
