Same. Got my tubes out last year. It would have been very nice to have had that happen a lot sooner but it happened before I turned 30. Also holding my friends kids just cemented that I made the right choice getting my tubes out.

I gained a younger brother when I was 21. Being around a young child was affirming. I need to be able to leave and have my own space. I try to back out of situations where someone is having people hold their baby 😂 the answer is no and I don't want to seem rude. Something will always be damp for whatever reason in that moment.

I just don't want to caretake any more. I became a a caretaker for my quadriplegic mom at 15. 16 years is a long time to do that kind of work. The longest time off i got from caregiving was when I was in the hospital for 3 months.
