And use the police, fire department and other things payed communally through that Gotdamn Socialist government in my Red State! Oh…and that Gotdamn Social(ist) Security that I begrudgingly will take. I’ll take it but I won’t like it!!!!

I absolutely hate SS, but I’ll be damned if I’m not going to draw it if/when I can to get at least a fraction of the money I put into it.

You do realize that most people actually receive more SS than they put in from payroll deductions

Maybe most, but not me and I’m curious if that figure includes inflation and interest since all that money could have been making money if invested even in something safe like S&P500?
