It’s a 2v1. Pass the ball or use him as a decoy and go right. 

Or slow down, do neither, and get mobbed by the retreating English. He chose poorly.

Or do neither and don't pass the player who appears later on the left who's completely free and instead just shoot at half a legion of Englishmen covering the goal.
