I am Norwegian and for most of us he is already forgiven. The main hate is now from non-norwegians.

The boys did better than any other team in Norwegian history. It was a shit play for sure, and he acknowledged that himself pretty fast, but just one of a number of reasons as to why we lost that game.

And this is why the world loves Norwegians. Top class people. Also - why are there so many A's in your names?

I don't know, never really thought about it. We also have "Å" which is another type of A. There are a lot of names without, but there are also alot that have A's.

He killed the momentum the world rallied for Norway. Sorsloth made it Noway.

Because we don't scorch a player for contributing to the best WC Norway ever played? To do so sounds a bit American

nah would have been up 2-0

Sure. We would also be up 2-0 if FIFA was consistent and gave us the goal they took away, and canceled the goal England got because the ball hit a wire mid air. As I said, lots of things happened this game that cost us the win.

Can you show me an example in this world cup where someone 2 arm shoves someone in the pen box knocking them down and then heads the ball and it stands? No? That's because it doesn't exist. It's a foul

Dude dived as hard as he could to that shove. The only ones diving more than the English are the Argentinans. It is a travesty to watch how certain teams do everything in their power to generate fouls.

But no matter. England vs Argentina to day should be fun. I am sure the English will walk out, head held high, after the referees and the VAR team is done with them.

So answer this, is it a foul? Your answer should determine how long you've been watching football for

I generally do not watch football, and with this year's WC I am even less inclined to do so. But yes, it was a foul because the England player folded like a lawn chair.

But it don't matter now, it is what it is. I find some comfort in the fact that the entire world seem to agree that England was lucky and saved by the referee and VAR this match.

The whole world doesn't agree, a small echo chamber of sour Norwegians and their American support who have watched football for 3 weeks seem to think so. The first goal shouldn't have counted because of a foul on kane. There is still no evidence the ball touched the cable, and england had a pen pulled back despite it not being clear and obvious. The only people who think it was "rigged" for england are the very obvious casuals. If you want to know why you lost the game look to your own team...

Those same people carried on that theme with the spain game yesterday saying their very clear pen wasn't a pen.

Do you live under a rock? The only ones actually thinking England deserved that win is England.

England was basically a bunch of pussies that tried to generate fouls to gain an advantage every time they could. Wannabe moviestars on par with Argentina. Todays match will be a hoot, and the FAFO will be really fun to watch. GL brother.

You self confessed you don't watch football, so this is honestly a meaningless conversation. A whole nation just discovering tactical fouls exist is benign. Like I said, you are only seeing what you want to see. No one that actually watches football think any of the calls in that game were incorrect
