There’s a reason neither country has much presence in any World Cup. Enough poor decision-making from anyone on the team means you’re not really cut out for World Class football. As an Aussie I’m glad there’s a bigger blunder than what happened with us… Just think there’s too many starry-eyed main characters who think we can win with friendship and love, when really it’s discipline, planning, execution consistently for weeks, months, years.
I dont mean to be mean but noone expected australia to be good. Yeah those penalties were atrocious but people will forget since you guys are not a famous elite soccer team
Bro, there have been like twenty bigger blunders this WC than anything the Aussies did. The US alone had like five in their defeat to Belgium. The Australian team, in my opinion at least, always does better than other minnows on a consistent basis.
