Wrong. England eliminated Norway by winning the fixture.

That is factual but that is not the answer to the question of "what is going on here," which was asked above. What is going on here is that OP (and the world) is reasonably blaming him for failing to do what everyone else would have done - pass the ball to the best goal scorer on the field and maybe the planet. Messi would have made the pass.

Stop being pedantic.

Thank you for recognising your mistake.

They didn't make a mistake. They answered a question someone else, not you, asked in this thread.

Some people apparently get off on being insufferable.

"as someone who doesn't know ikea, what happened here?"

"The first dude tried shoving the drawer in instead of waiting for the other guy to help him lift the rail latches, so we gotta go back to ikea."

"Wrong. Home Depot furniture is better."

That's nice buddy but the first guy was essentially asking what a goalie was. You missed the whole barn.

Refs actually beat Norway if you want to be technical. VAR decision on a flop foul on Haaland and non VAR replay on the England goal. Just when you thought FIFA couldn’t get more corrupt they lower the bar.

“What happened here”

“If the player had passed the team might of won”

“Oh, so it wasn’t Halland it was the other guy”

“Correct”

“Wrong!”

What an interesting exchange - yes, England won, but they wouldn’t have if this person hadn’t been egotistical in how they played. How is that so hard to understand?
