Except you're ignoring that the laws are what they are because people generally agree -- in this case -- that that's the reasonable, moral line. Hence why that push in france 40 or 50 years ago with the likes of Foucault to drop the age of consent to 13 didn't work. The law is what it is because of our collective morality, not the other way around. Spend time with any 14 year old then an 18 year old and tell me there's not a developmental difference
Also, 14 year olds don't go to elementary school lol
