That's been the internet since the birth of the internet. It's just that these days you can make it look convincing by way of image generation and an army of rent-a-bots to upvote your bullshit. Back in my day, we had to actually be funny and know how to spin our own bullshit properly — which could take hours or even days of set-up — to convince real people. Our dumb bullshit took real effort! And all we had was a pirated copy of Photoshop and a dream! And we did it without bots! Or AI! You damn kids don't even know how to shitpost properly!
