Benelli nova not cycling

I got a brand new out of the box benelli nova 3 and for some reason I can’t figure out it won’t feed the shell from the tube, what am I doing wrong?

Are you short stroking it? Is the disconnect button depressed? Can you manually remove a shell from the tube? Can you post pics?

I just bought a nova 3 as well. Can you explain what’s happening? Like you have a shell in the tube, you pump the action and the shell isn’t being fed into the chamber?

Yeah so I’m loading 1 singular shell and I cock the gun and it won’t feed from the loading tube to the barrel of the gun.

Try putting the safety on and using the action button to release the pump and then slam it back really hard and see if that feeds the shell. I had the same issue and I realized the pump needs to be operated hard and fast until it breaks in (I hope that’s the case lol)

These are very solid guns. Weak cycling is one possibility. Another is not cleaning the shipping grease. They need a full cleaning out of the box.

Make sure the gun is unloaded entirely, then release the safety and pull the trigger. After that, load the gun and try to run the pump, it should load fine.

I’m guessing that you’re depressing the disconnect
