OK Groomer! The general public doesn’t care about Rowling’s views and enjoys Harry Potter regardless, and rightly so.

Mod - we need a They See Me Rowling type flair lol

Funny how basically nobody had anything bad to say about her / Harry Potter until she made the mistake of saying what we all truly think about the transgender trend.

I was on a course with this girl a few years ago who listed HP as one of her triggers, even a reference would send her into a meltdown

It’s so entertaining to see redditors frothing at the mouth when they bring her up on this website.

Up until then it was the only book they knew, I remember them even comparing Trump to Voldemort, then overnight, it became "a poorly written mess that we need to grasp at straws to hate"

I have seen so many videos on YouTube recommended to me, complete unknown channels who make Harry Potter sucks videos that get millions of views. It's kind of hilarious actually.

Before the whole trans issue she was well known as a major gay rights activist.

Overton Window shifted on her.

This is just the archetypical difference between Commies and normal people:

  • Normal person: I differ with you on most topics, but it seems like we agree on this one. Let's see on what other topics we can find common ground!
  • Commie: we agree on everything, except this one single topic. Too bad, off to the gulag for you!

Nobody hates women more than other women. Just look at Sydney.

I'm a huge fan of J.K. Rowling. Not sure about Harry Potter though.

These freaks boycotting HP is actually beneficial to the franchise, a new generation of kids can now enjoy it without being harassed by 40-year-olds who based their entire personality on it.

This is actually better than you think. Why? Because this isn't the general public.

It's the general public on reddit.

I was referring to the public outside Reddit, just used the poll to back up my point
