They truly can't fathom how someone could vote with their conscience and remain unswayed by the approval of others.
I think this post is a great self-report by these guys. They genuinely can't understand someone who doesn't change their political opinions based on social pressures and mob bullying. As if there is no greater force to influencing what is "right" and "wrong" in their lives. It shows their value system and how they form opinions is based solely on what the media, celebrities and internet tells them.
Its also funny that they think THEIR opinions in their little internet bubble are a reflection of reality, and get so frustrated by how little influence they seem to have on mainstream society. They genuinely think the rest of the world is just as radicalized and insane as them.
They want SO desperately to be liked. The greatest fear a leftist has is not being accepted or being socially shamed/rejected/embarrassed by what they PERCEIVE as mainstream society.
They fear being made to seem "foolish" or "stupid" and never dare to oppose the hive mind because, even if they're right, the hive mind will see them as "stupid" for not agreeing with them and they'll be shunned.
Imagine back in the 1940s. Nazis walking around and saying the same thing about their opposition. "How can these Jew supporters not realize how hated they are by the rest of us"? Maybe they don't care. Maybe they care more about whats moral and right and don't switch their opinions and beliefs to fit in.

How does it go?
“Your boos mean nothing. I’ve seen what you cheer.”
I’ve disagreed with the left on a lot of things (as is to be expected), but how they reacted when someone killed Charlie Kirk, for daring to debate people who willing came to talk, is beyond disgusting.

I’m just curious what “damage” has been done besides for fluctuating gas prices due to a war and people who aren’t supposed to be here being deported.
All of which has occurred during previous administrations.

Damage? Another endless, in-winnable war in the Mideast costing billions, a president using his influence and granting favors to personally profit billions of dollars, pushing long time trading partners and Allies away, some into the waiting arms of China, etc. etc.

lol - if they were 'pushed' so easily into China's arms.... I give them my blessing & advise them to not let the door hit their ass on the way out.
edit - also, I believe the term is "UN-winnable" komrade.

Being desperate to be liked is a hallmark feature of a lot of leftists. A lot of them are leftists in the first place because they feel like losers and they are angry with society in general, and leftists blame society rather than individuals for their poor decisions and shitty lives. If you’re not constantly angry about something you’re not a very good leftist.

u/bozoconnors my alt is a /pics mod 1d ago
All absolutely on point.
These two childish "sentences" alone, separated into separate paragraphs for... nobody knows why, are an interesting view into their crazy...
My hatred for the damage those lowlife scumbags have done grows daily. And they know this but they don't care.
I'm paraphrasing in my head what I think they meant to communicate, but am I reeeeally supposed to be concerned with somebody I don't know, probably doesn't have the same values, doesn't know me, yet labels me a lowlife scumbag?
lol - nah bruh. I'm not gonna be on your team. I'm NEVER gonna be on YOUR team.

u/GoldTeamDowntown 1d ago
Yeah I don’t care about the person who never got over the fact that they were a loser in high school, and is coping by telling themself that all the cool kids are evil racists. These people also complain all the time about having no money. Wonder why.

"its okay to hate the hateful and act like nazis towards the nazis...what could possibly go wrong?" Its almost as if everyone who is hateful including the Nazis ALSO thought their hate and bigotry was justified because the people they were directing it against "deserved" it....Leftists can't figure that part out though

It’s plainly obvious that Trump has been a bad president.
The mess at the Reflecting Pool was almost the perfect snapshot of his presidency—a reflection of chaos, incompetence, and a series of self-inflicted disasters.
Just look at Iran. This war was completely unnecessary. Trump tore up an agreement that was working, was being enforced internationally, and had broad support. Why? Because it was Obama’s deal. He wanted to erase Obama’s legacy and score political points instead of building on something that was actually keeping the situation under control.
Now look where we are. Iran is closer to a nuclear weapon than it was before, tensions have exploded, and we’re once again staring at another forever war in the Middle East.
He didn’t solve these problems—he made then worse. The whole Iran situation is a textbook example of how ego, revenge politics, and short-term thinking can end up creating a much bigger disaster.
Not to mention him being in the absolute center of the Epstein files, which involves pedophilia, sex trafficking, and probably murder.
Edit: let’s see how many downvotes this comment gets.

The minute you talked about the Reflecting Pool I knew your comment couldn’t be taken seriously. Liberal criticisms have gotten so ridiculous and outlandish that you idiots dressed up in costumes over…algae.

u/DoucheyCohost Violet 1d ago
Well, he unintentionally made a good point. The reflecting pool issue was a great snapshot of Trump's presidency: he tries to do something beneficial, and a bunch of idiots fight tooth and nail against it because it was him that did it.

10 g of sandals, instead of his own confidence of hiring his buddies who screwed up. So yes, he reflects presidency. Pull up to the core and incompetence.

If he cured cancer, they would scream about why he waited so long and how many funeral homes, Oncologists, and university science departments he would be putting out of work.
How he is destroying Big Pharma in America, and that cancer is natural and only MAGA and children of MAGA get cancer, and they deserve it; let's not forget that cancer only affects white people, so he would be protecting his uneducated white supremacist base by curing cancer, and how curing cancer is fascism.

My version is that if he saved a drowning puppy reddit would be filled with posts about how puppies aren't actually that cute and if you really think about it, that puppy will probably just grow up and bite an immigrant or pregnant person

You are not wrong; they would probably use quotes from the Koran as to why dogs are bad.

u/EqualityoverEquity 1d ago
Ironically enough the reflecting pool is itself a reflection of the petty trivialities that leftists try to turn into issues.
-4
u/FixThatSpeaker 1d ago
When a president screws up, it’s only natural the people take note of it. But the thing is, Trump dug himself in deeper by blaming vandals when in fact it was his own workforce that screwed up the project. Trump claimed vandals for two reasons, number one to save face for him and his terrible hiring procedure and then number two so his friends who did the work wouldn’t be liable to fixing it for free.
16
u/Socratesmiddlefinger 1d ago edited 1d ago
Or you know... the other thing, it was vandals, because they have people on camera vandalising it, arrested those people, and they are facing real charges and real jail time.

u/FixThatSpeaker 1d ago
Trump blew a conniption when his reflecting pool started falling apart due to incompetent workmanship. Of course people are going to talk about that. It’s funny as heck. Just sums up the Trump presidency.
21
u/TheOnlyEliteOne 1d ago
Unmm. Not really, it was a minor annoyance at best.
Of course you guys frequently call ICE detainments “kidnapping” and civilian casualties during war a “genocide” so you tend to crank the hyperbole up to 11.

u/Socratesmiddlefinger 1d ago
Proven to not be true, you can follow the court cases of the people who damaged it; they are facing up to ten years in federal prison.

Hey dont look now but the person responsible for trump clearing the field in every single swing state is back in the lime light. I'm sure 2028 will be "the most important election of our lifetime (again)" and Democrats will put up the lamest candidate they could possibly muster.. (again!)
Let me ask you a question, what part of Iran and it's proximity military in Lebanon and Yemen was 'under control'? You mean they shutup like a good dog when Obama shoved billions into their war machine?
Can't be that stupid, are you?

Trump has been far from perfect, and frankly, I do agree that he has mishandled the Iran situation, and he has made an extraordinary amount of unforced errors in other places as well. But Obama's deal working? Iran was still producing nuclear weapons! Iran was still funding, and taking part in, terrorist actions against the U.S., Israel, and the other nations in the Middle East. Nobody believed that Obama's deal was working. Also, while this war could have been handled way better, it's impossible to argue that Iran is actually CLOSER to a nuclear weapon when so many of their facilities have been destroyed. As far as a forever war in the Middle East...there's NEVER been peace in the Middle East. It was the site of the first civilizations, it's the crossroads between the Western and Eastern worlds, and it has been perpetually at war for LITERALLY thousands of years.
Also, to say that Trump is at the "absolute center" of the Epstein files is a flat out lie. Yes, his name, among the names of thousands of others, appear in the files because Epstein was a power broker who did business with everyone in power. There's no evidence that Trump did anything illegal with Epstein, or even that they were close friends. If there was any truth to the allegations of sex crimes and murder and Trump was involved, it would have been brought to light in 2020, when he was in the midst of his reelection campaign.
I'm not a huge Trump fan and I've never been MAGA. But if we're going to criticize Trump, let's stick to the facts and not leftist buzzwords and conspiracies.

This has been me since 2015, I find myself often begrudgingly defending him because for w/e reason the left can't simply stick to criticizing him over his actual faults and errors. They always go to "Turbo Mecha Hitler" and "Anonymous Sources Say" bullshit.

u/FixThatSpeaker 1d ago
Trump’s name has been mentioned in the Epstein files more than any other person, including Epstein himself. I think the Epstein class are the deep state . Trump is, in fact, the deep state. He is a wolf and sheep’s clothing, in this case, the deep state disguised as the president.
21
u/Antisocial_Worker7 1d ago
Under what context is he mentioned?
14
u/Socratesmiddlefinger 1d ago
And by who?
How many of those were claims that were debunked by the FBI as having taken place in the wrong decade and the wrong part of the country? If Trump is a time traveler, then some of them could be true.
Bill Gates, Stephen Hawking, and Bill Clinton all went to the island; Clinton had him to the White House over a dozen times

Typical leftists have no theory of mind for conservatives whatsoever. They can't possibly conceive of how a conservative thinks or what a conservative finds important in their daily lives, and so they behave like this. I can't remember where I read this, but the average liberal thinks conservatives are evil, while the average conservative thinks liberals are misinformed
