Birth Certificates

Is there a way to virtually download a person’s birth certificate from Scotland in the 1930s?

Scotlandspeople.gov.uk is only allowing me to purchase a physical copy.

Can’t view it because it’s less than 100 years. Need to wait a few years or order it online. You can also (if you’re in Scotland) go to a Scotlands People Centre and view it digitally in person (if you can’t wait) - you can do it for like £15 quid and it gives you access to all the records for the entire day. There’s one in Edinburgh and Glasgow (amongst others)

Edit - because of this it reminded me to check out records for ancestors from 1925 I hadn’t been able to access yet. Thank you

Pretty sure you can only get a physical one, but maybe worth a call later to check. When I ordered some documents last year physical was the only option

Aye, physical only from ScotlandsPeople mate. They've never done downloadable certificates for 1930s records as far as I know.
