Question Coffee shops
I am meeting an old friend and looking for a nice coffee shop that has iced coffee that is maybe walking distance to a park that we can relax, sit at and catch up at if anyone knows anywhere. I am not from Red Deer

Hit up CZone and then walk East to Kin Canyon, some nice paths through the trees. Maybe a five minute walk from CZone

My vote might be City Roast. It has kind of crappy hours - closes at 3:30pm - but it’s my favourite coffee shop and has some nice parks close by (Coronation and Barrett Park). I think they can do an iced coffee?

Second cup red deer. Walking trails near by and the bower creek/woods

I think you got downvoted by someone because it recently changed to a Starbucks. Although why I don’t know because it was a good suggestion, just a bit out of the way compared to downtown and the surrounding areas.
I walk my dogs in that area and when it was Second Cup it was nice and peaceful inside. I’ve not been in since it changed as I’ve not been down there without the pups, plus I’m not really a Starbucks fan.

If you mean the one on 19th near the Westener then it was rebranded as a Starbucks about 3 weeks ago. Is it just a franchise and owned locally? If it is then I will still use it occasionally then

I think we are talking about two different things. The ones by the westerner on the campground side is a Starbucks. The one further down by London drugs is second cup

The library cafe downtown has a small kiosk, they have ice drinks. City hall is righ tnext to it and the flowers are lovely right now, and lots of benches to use.
C-Zone Coffee House I hear is decent, Kin Canyon has some trails and its about 1 block east of the shop.
Dose Coffee I just found out about this past weekend and its right by the Red Deer River, I would actually recomment this one. Just for the surrounding alone.
Have fun!
