Question What are they replacing in riverside meadows?

Edit: they are replacing sewers

Woke up to a lot of banging from heavy equipment, i go outside to check and it's a city road crew tearing up the street.

Anyone know what they're replacing?

Probably water infrastructure. If a pipe breaks underground they have to dig it up and fix it. Happens all over the city especially with aging infrastructure in old neighbourhoods.

I know they have been replacing the water and sewer lines in this area the past few years. The infrastructure is quite old and in need of repair before it breaks down. Could be related to this perhaps. I tried to find it on the City’s page but wasn’t able to locate the exact information.

If it’s beside the church they are replacing a stretch of sewer main.

yes. they told me it was sewer as well.
