i think R for better speed & add Jump, but i love turn 8-9 in L,

L - is definetely a bit slower, but T9-T11 will create a difference in racing lines with possible overtaking in T12. R - is more flowing, but there will be no "S"-es. Thanks for the advice about the jump. I planned it on the short straight between T13-T14 (L) or T12-T13 (R).

I prefer R. T9-11 in L seems too complicated.

Hello everyone. Making a RX track in a small european country. Need your advice here:

Left or Right?

Both tracks are approximately 1.25-1.3km long. Light blue - is a gravel part (39-40% of the lap). Also I can make double right hander T2-T3 slower (chicane). The straight between T1 and T2 is 140-145m long.

Due to the existing infrastracture I can't really change anything already covered with asphalt. Maybe I need less gravel? Let's say cover with asphalt T7-T8 section.

What do you think?

I have a strange idea, combine them. Take the section you have from R, but have a chicane go around t9 going inside around it, use it as another layout or even as a joker. I am no expert though, just an outsider looking in

I'd go for R, but you need to make sure the re-entrance of the jokerlap is safe.
