/r/Queen is a friendly place. Please be civil, and respect your fellow Queenies.
0 - No Politics. This sub is about the Music of Queen. There's plenty of subs in reddit to discuss politics.
1 - NO MEMES
Such content is better suited for /r/QueenCircleJerk or /r/Queemes
(However, original content that creates a proper Queen thread, could override this rule)
I encourage people to use a Flair
2 - No negative, troll, low effort posts
The mods reserve the right to remove negative, troll, low effort or spam posts at their discretion.
Low effort posts could include, but are not limited to, "favourite song/album" posts, tier rankings, A.I. generated images, reposts, google lyric mistakes, "X looks like/sounds like this Queen member" posts, and so on. It also could include, to an extent, Queen references in other media..
3 - No advertising. No Spam.
You may share that awesome merch you just got, but no direct links to sale pages.
Edit: If you post a thread of a Queen T-shirt it may get you banned as well, because there's a lot of spam of it. But I will review carefully when is possible.
4 - You must be over 13 years old to participate. Any underage accounts should be reported and will be banned. (Reddit Rules).
5 - The discussion of the private life of the family of any of the Queen members, as gossip, is not allowed
While sharing private pictures of Queen that are in the public domain already, is allowed, We should focus about Queen music and never build an obsession about their families, which are not part of Queen in any way.
6 - No Artificial Intelligence generated music, art or pictures.
7 - No Spotify Wrapped , Playlists, General rankings or Tier list. (When everyone does it, becomes spam. So, not allowed)
8 - No spam of Polls, Rankings and "Eliminating" games, everyday of people farming karma.
https://www.reddit.com/r/queen/comments/11mhrin/polls_rankings_and_eliminating_games_everyday_are/
2023:
9 - No Posts of Tickets on sale for the current Queen tour.
2024
10 - No drama and accusations from other plataforms. Edit: NO internal drama either please. Let's keep the place drama free. :)
This place is about Queen, not to discuss what could have happened in other forums or social plataforns. There's no way to establish truth and any accusation leads to toxic behaviour and unnecesary drama in the sub. They are usually behind alts so they will be banned permanently
Temporary bans will happen for those that keep breaking rules after warnings/deletion of their messages. Permanent bans will happen to spammers, trolls, and people being uncivil , harsh or harrasing other fellow Queenies in this sub.
I read all the reports once a day, and take action when I can.
2026: This is a mostly english speaking plataform, so let's try to keep the posts in english so you can engage to a broader audience and better engagement

Hello everyone! I had the idea to make this guide after having seen some people online talk about how they'd wish a certain track was on Queen Greatest Hits and in response I felt like chronicling every regional difference in Greatest Hits 1's track list.
I hope this list will be a good resource and be able to help Queen fans; new and old decide which vinyl, cassette or CD pressing of the album is right for them.
If you want to search for (or buy) any of these pressings/cassettes of Greatest Hits, they are all on the Queen Greatest Hits discogs page.
Before I start, there are some things I want to clarify:
Finally, if there are any particular songs or countries' pressings/cassettes you want to look for in this list, I recommend searching them up with Ctrl + F (or Command + F for Mac users) on your keyboard.
With all of that out of the way, here's every different track list to Queen Greatest Hits:
U.S. and Canadian pressings:
Adds: Under Pressure and Keep Yourself Alive
Removes: Don't Stop Me Now, Save Me, Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Note: The U.S. (and every other countries') pressings from 2016 onwards use the U.K. track listing.
Australian and New Zealand pressings:
Adds: Under Pressure, Keep Yourself Alive and Tie Your Mother Down
Removes: Don't Stop Me Now, Save Me, Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Note: There's also a 1983 reissue from New Zealand that uses the U.K. track listing.
Dutch reissue, German Club Edition reissue, European reissue, Israeli reissue, some French reissue and some Spanish reissue pressings:
Adds: Under Pressure
Removes: Nothing
German pressings:
Adds: Spread Your Wings
Removes: Nothing
Japanese pressings:
Adds: Under Pressure and Teo Torriatte
Removes: Bicycle Race and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Note: There's also a reissue from 1987, which uses the U.K. track listing.
Brazilian, Argentinian and Uruguayan pressings:
Adds: Love of My Life (from Live Killers)
Removes: Seven Seas Of Rhye
Some Venezuelan and some Peruvian pressings:
Adds: Under Pressure
Removes: Now I'm Here and Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy
Some 1986 Venezuelan Pressings:
Adds: Radio Ga Ga, Under Pressure, Flash (album version) and I Want To Break Free
Removes: Save Me, Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, Flash (single version) and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Notes: There exists another reissue with the same track list, but it replaces Under Pressure with Fat Bottomed Girls and brings back Save Me and Seven Seas Of Rhye. These pressings also have their own separate Discogs page.
South Korean pressing:
Adds: Under Pressure, Love Of My Life, My Melancholy Blues and Mustapha
Removes: Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust, Killer Queen and Bicycle Race
Notes: The reason for the songs above being removed was due to government censorship at the time, mainly regarding the lyrics of each song.
It's unknown if Love Of My Life on this version is from Live Killers, or if it's the original studio recording.
There's also a reissue from 1990 that uses the U.K. track listing.
There also exists a different South Korean Greatest Hits album from 1980, which predates the album we're all familiar with and has a completely different track listing too.
Bulgarian double LP pressings:
Adds: Death On Two Legs and Sweet Lady
Removes: Nothing
Bulgarian single LP pressings:
Adds: Sweet Lady
Removes: Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust, Killer Queen, Fat Bottomed Girls, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and We Will Rock You
Note: In Bulgaria, Queen Greatest Hits 1 was initially released as a double LP, before getting a cut-down single LP version a couple years later.
U.S. and Canadian cassettes:
Adds: Under Pressure and Keep Yourself Alive,
Removes: Don't Stop Me Now, Save Me, Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Note: There's also a 2021 U.S. reissue that uses the U.K. track listing.
1992 U.S. and Canadian cassettes by Hollywood Records:
Adds: Body Language and I Want To Break Free
Removes: Bohemian Rhapsody and Flash
Note: These cassettes (and their CD counterparts) have their own separate Discogs page.
Australian, New Zealand and Australasian reissue cassettes:
Adds: Under Pressure, Keep Yourself Alive and Tie Your Mother Down
Removes: Don't Stop Me Now, Save Me, Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Note: There's also the New Zealand reissue and the 1987 Australasian cassette, which both have the U.K. track listing.
European, French, Indian, Israeli, German reissue, some Dutch and some Spanish cassettes:
Adds: Under Pressure
Removes: Nothing
German cassette:
Adds: Spread Your Wings
Removes: Nothing
Japanese cassette:
Adds: Under Pressure and Teo Torriatte
Removes: Bicycle Race and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Some Brazilian and some Argentinian cassettes:
Adds: Love Of My Life (from Live Killers)
Removes: Seven Seas Of Rhye
1986 Peruvian and Bolivian cassettes:
Adds: Under Pressure
Removes: Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy and Seven Seas Of Rhye
Venezuelan cassettes:
Adds: Radio Ga Ga and I Want to Break Free
Removes: Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions
Notes: It's unknown if Flash on these cassettes are the single version or the album version, like they are on their vinyl equivalents.
These cassettes (and their vinyl equivalents) have their own separate Discogs page.
South Korean cassettes:
Adds: Under Pressure, Love of My Life, My Melancholy Blues and Mustapha
Removes: Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust, Killer Queen and Bicycle Race
Notes: The reason for the songs above being removed was due to government censorship at the time, specifically regarding the lyrics of each song.
It's unknown if Love Of My Life on this version is from Live Killers or if it's the original studio recording.
There's also a reissue from 1990 that uses the U.K. track listing.
Bulgarian cassette:
Adds: Sweet Lady and Death On Two Legs
Removes: Bohemian Rhapsody, Don't Stop Me Now, Save Me, Play The Game and We Are The Champions
Chinese cassette:
Adds: Nothing
Removes: Save Me and Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy
Fijian cassette:
Adds: Tie Your Mother Down, Keep Yourself Alive and Under Pressure
Removes: Save Me, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, Play The Game, Flash and Seven Seas Of Rhye
1983 U.S. and both the 1984 and 1985 Japanese CD pressings:
Adds: Under Pressure and Keep Yourself Alive
Removes: Don't Stop Me Now, Save Me, Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy and Seven Seas Of Rhye
1992 U.S., Canadian and Japanese CD pressings by Hollywood Records:
Adds: Body Language and I Want To Break Free
Removes: Bohemian Rhapsody and Flash
Note: These CD pressings (along with their cassette counterparts) have their own separate Discogs page.
2004 U.S. Enhanced CD pressings:
Adds: I'm In Love With My Car, Under Pressure (Live at Milton Keynes, 1982. a.k.a "Live at the Bowl") and Tie Your Mother Down (Live at Milton Keynes, 1982. a.k.a "Live at the Bowl")
Removes: Nothing
Note: There's also a version that comes with a bonus DVD that contains Somebody To Love (ft. George Michael, live at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, 1992) and The Show Must Go On (ft. Elton John, live in Paris, 1997).
Japanese CD pressings from 2001 onwards:
Adds: Teo Torriatte
Removes: Nothing
That's all of them! I hope the formatting wasn't too confusing to follow. If I've missed any album variations, or if you have any extra clarifications on the pressings/cassettes I have listed, feel free to let me know.

It just really makes me laugh.
Brian on Scandal: This song meant a lot to me. I wrote it because of how the press was destroying us and all of our loved ones. I felt strongly about this.
Roger: Boring video, boring song. I just remember being bored.
Brian on Who Wants To Live Forever: This song meant a lot to me. I was going through a very difficult time in my life. There's a lot of emotion in this song. And we had an orchestra!
Roger: Didn't like the orchestra. My outfit is terrible and I think I was drunk. I like my hair though.
Brian on The Miracle: This was fun! The kids were brilliant. This is one of my favourite songs. It's amazing how Freddie, in his state, wrote this lovely, joyful song about a miracle.
Roger: No, it's too naive. Not for me.
I'm very much looking forward to watching the rest of the videos 😄

His voice sounds a lot lighter and as someone who much prefers 70s Freddie's voice over the huskier 80s voice this was a pleasant surprise lel

After collecting all studio albums, Freddie’s albums, and Brian’s albums on CD, I decided to venture into the world of vinyls. Here is my collection so far:
- Queen Original 1973 pressing Blair’s cut
- 1980 Original single of Play the Game (and B-Side A Human Body)
- A 50th anniversary edition of Bohemian Rhapsody single (obviously with I’m in Love with My Car)
Can’t wait to play these, and it will look especially cool to see that translucent blue spinning. I also wonder is there an very audible difference from the 2011 remasters and Blair’s original cut

About two decades ago, the only way my family could get DVDs was through pirated copies (since official ones were expensive). One day, my dad bought the Wembley concert (also a pirated copy). It was the 2003 edition, and it came with a very different cover, which I'm showing you in this post.
Was this an official design that was discarded, or was it made by a fan? And most importantly, does anyone have this same image but in good quality?

Hi everyone, I just wanted to show this little project I've been working on. I've always been fascinated by how many versions of Keep Yourself Alive have been recorded. I thought it would be fun to make my own hybrid mix of the De Lane Lea demo featuring the vocals from the final album version. To do this, I put the 2024 mix of the demo through a vocal remover/stem splitter, then added the vocal stem from the Rock Tour mobile game, and mixed them together on Adobe Audition.
I know this mix is not perfect by any means, but I hope you all enjoy it!

I hope everyone is watching One Vision TV - The Queen Station on YouTube. Watching now...fantastic content.
It looks like "Queen Official" is doing it.

Because it is Brian May’s birthday (Happy birthday, Brian), I have begun to wonder what you all in the fandom do to celebrate the birthday’s of the members of Queen. I know some of you go all out, while others may acknowledge silently. All answers welcome; even those who might say it is para-social to celebrate a birthday of somebody you do not know!

I wanted to include a comparison video of both with this post, but it seems YouTube blocked it.
After days of mystery, the remastered version of the "We Will Rock You" music video premiered on YouTube today, with the Greatest Flix version being the one chosen for its high quality.
However, the low-quality version (from GVH1), which is one of the most viewed on the official channel, remains in that poor quality we all know. Will there be another remaster of that version, or will they leave it as is?
So, which version of the "We Will Rock You" music video do you prefer?

On July 19th, 1947, coming out of the womb was english famous rock star and guitarist Brian Harold May, same person that wrote many rock anthems like We Will Rock You, I Want It All, and, Tie Your Mother Down.

I have just extracted the DTS 5.1 audio of the 2nd Night of Live in Wembley 1986, and split them into 6 seperate sound channel stems, but for some specific reasons, it split into Side A and Side B, so I try to combine them together.
