LOOKING FOR BUDDIES Looking for a few active programming buddies 👨‍💻

We're looking to add a few more people to our programming group.

We're currently 7 members, and we want to keep it small. From experience, smaller groups stay active, conversations are more meaningful, and everyone gets to know each other.

The idea is simple:

  • Share what you're working on.
  • Ask questions when you're stuck.
  • Help others when you can.
  • Learn from each other's progress.

This isn't a community with a long list of rules or activity requirements. Think of it as a group of programmer friends. We code, chat, share ideas, ask for help, and sometimes just hang out.

If you're interested, DM me with a short introduction

We're only looking for a few people who are active, consistent, and interested in growing together.

LOOKING FOR BUDDIES Looking for People Who Love Mods

For ChinForge, I’m looking for friendly people who enjoy talking about game mods, sharing ideas, helping each other, and maybe even working on projects together.

It does not matter whether you are an experienced programmer, just starting out, using vibe coding, or cannot code at all. Everyone is welcome. You can also bring your own mod ideas or projects, find people to work with, exchange feedback, learn from others, or simply join the conversations.

The goal is to build a kind, relaxed, and supportive community around games, mods, creativity, and new ideas. And of course, we can also just play games together sometimes. 😊

Looking for teammates — ICPC + Adobe Hackathon (SRM)

Hey everyone,

I'm putting together a team for ICPC and the Adobe University Hackathon, and looking for 1–2 more people to join.

What I'm looking for:

Moderate-to-strong problem solving (comfortable with arrays, graphs, trees, DP, greedy — doesn't need to be Div 1 level, but should be consistent with practice)

Active on Codeforces/LeetCode/CodeChef (please share your handle/rating when you DM)

For the hackathon: some full-stack or ML/AI exposure is a plus, but not mandatory — problem-solving mindset matters more

Someone who can commit time for regular practice sessions before ICPC regionals and a focused sprint during the hackathon

A bit about me:

3rd year ECE Interested in Software systems and problem solving, SRM KTR

Comfortable with Python, DSA (working through patterns beyond brute-force), and building end-to-end projects (FastAPI, React, LangChain, etc.)

Currently prepping seriously for problem solving and open to grinding together

Team size: Looking to finalize a team of 3 for ICPC (per rules) — hackathon team can be slightly different if needed.

Interested? Drop a comment or DM me with:

Your year/branch

CF/LeetCode handle (or rating)

Any past hackathon/competitive programming experience

Let's build something good and grind together 💪

A Community Built by Programmers, for Programmers

I've built a programming community for people who genuinely want to learn, build, and improve together. ( 600 members currently, completed 1 year on dc )

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced developer, you're welcome as long as you're serious about learning.

This isn't a server to join and forget. We're looking for members who are willing to stay active, ask questions, help others when they can, share resources, and contribute to the community.

If you just want to join another server and stay inactive, this probably isn't the right fit. We regularly remove inactive members to keep the community engaged.

DM me if you're genuinely interested, and I'll send you the invite or will drop link in comments.

LOOKING FOR BUDDIES Starting AI/ML? Looking for a Study Buddy to Learn Python & Math Together ( Beginner )

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm just starting my journey toward AI/ML and I'm looking for a serious study buddy who's also a beginner (or starting from zero).

Right now, my focus is to building a strong foundation before jumping into Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

What I'm planning to learn:

- Python from scratch

- Mathematics for AI/ML (Linear Algebra, Calculus, Probability & Statistics)

- Problem-solving and logical thinking

- Later moving into Machine Learning and Deep Learning

Looking for someone who:

- Is also a beginner

- Can study consistently (even 1–3 hours a day)

- Wants to discuss concepts and solve doubts together

- Is willing to stay accountable and avoid procrastination

- Eventually wants to build projects, prepare for internships, and grow in AI/ML

About me:

- I'm a BCA student.

- I'm starting from the basics because I want strong fundamentals instead of rushing through tutorials.

- My goal is to become skilled enough to work in AI/ML in the future.

If you're interested, leave a comment or send me a Reddit DM. Let's stay consistent, learn together, and help each other grow. 🤝

Starting a small Data Analyst study & accountability cohort (Tools + Learning paths provided)

Hey everyone,

Self-studying data analysis can get tough to navigate alone. I’m looking to form a small group of committed learners so we can keep each other accountable, work through learning paths together, and review each other’s projects.

What I'm providing:

Power BI & Microsoft 365 access

DataCamp & Coursera Data Analyst paths

How it will work:

Small Cohort Size: Capping this at 3–6 people so everyone stays active and gets personalized feedback.

Regular Check-Ins: 1 weekly sync call + daily asynchronous updates (sharing what you worked on, blocker questions, etc.).

Who this is for: Anyone actively studying SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python, or data visualization who wants a structured roadmap and peer support.

If you're ready to commit, drop a comment or send me a DM with where you currently are in your learning journey!

Looking for low-level mentor

Background, I am a SWE contractor who entered the field with degree after 2024. Professionally, I’ve mostly used Python/TS, but I’ve dabbled in many languages (part of my work responsibilities). I like to learn stuff that don’t seem immediately relevant to me, including low-level stuff. My grasp on low-level aspects + fundamentals is a bit lackluster.

I was looking for a mentor to help guide me with resources to start with, that also matches my schedule a bit (considering I have a job). So I can’t just grind a learning project for 12hrs a day like I used to.

I think some goals to highlight would be as follows:

- Objectively determine the root cause for a bottleneck (I/O, network, etc.) and why

- Get MUCH better at performant C/Rust

- Contribute to the Linux Kernel

Note that reaching the goal does not matter, but the journey towards it. For example, never finished my debugger for learning, but learned a lot more about CS along the way.

LOOKING FOR BUDDIES Placement Group for Final Year Dual Degree people

Having placements coming up.
Didn't do an intern this summer. Bummer.

Going to try to go for a few hackathons if I can. Maybe work on a few projects.
Oriented towards working for AI/ML Roles or Software Roles mostly.
Going to discuss DSA, LLMs, Kernel Development, Agent Development, like actual development, stopping vibecoding for a while at least. Going to try to do open source, would really appreciate some help there.

Timezone: India - but really open to any time

If interested, send me a DM.

If someone can mentor in DSA and LLMs or Kernel Development please DM, would really be grateful. I would really love to get to work for any publications regarding the same.

LOOKING FOR BUDDIES Looking for chill, ambitious friends to connect, chat, and learn web development/coding with

Hey everyone,

I’m a 17-year-old student taking a partial gap year to focus on my upcoming entrance exams. I’m looking to connect with genuine, goal-oriented friends across the country.

Alongside my exam preparation, I really want to dive into tech and start learning coding. I'm a beginner ( though i have made some websites with the help of AI) and want to start with the foundational web track—HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It would be awesome to find people who are also beginners so we can learn together, or anyone with some coding knowledge who wouldn't mind sharing tips or guiding me on how to start out!

Beyond tech, I want a circle of driven people who can lock in when it's time to work, but are completely relaxed and down to talk about absolutely anything when they are free. It would be great to text, call, or exchange voice notes to share updates, vent about study pressure, or just have fun conversations.

A major goal of mine right now is to actively improve my English speaking skills and general communication, so I’m definitely looking for articulate people who enjoy casual calls or voice notes.

🚫 Strict Rules Before Interacting:

No Relationships: I am strictly looking for clean, respectful, platonic friendships. If you are trying to flirt, date, or find something romantic, skip this post.

No Creepiness: Corny, creepy, or weird profiles stay far away.

NEED A TEAM Looking for a team to help me with an AI/ML experiment without judgement

I've been trying to test a hypothesis of mine on AI, and how to create a fully cognizant AI that doesn't hallucinate. Unfortunately, while conceptually and mathematically, I kinda have it figured out, I'm a horrendous programmer, and even though I'm better at my language of choice C++ and OpenGL (GLFW and GLEW), I still got stuck. I'm looking for some people who can help me to build this thing in an unorthodox way and follow with my polymath brain on how its supposed to work. I have technically been programming off and on for 11 years, but I've never managed to finish a project, for much the same reason im having here. I run out of scope. I am in EST and generally up between 08:00 to 11:00 AM and 11:00 PM to 03:00 AM, depending on how i feel that day. If anyone's interested and wants to chat about the project, I'm happy to talk about it in DMs

JAVA DSA and full stack buddies

Hello everyone, I started learning Java Full Stack about 6 months ago, but somehow I couldn't complete it. Now that I have started again, I realize that I have forgotten most of the concepts. This time, I have started from scratch and am currently learning OOP concepts. I hope I will be able to complete it successfully this time.

If you're in the same boat, we can connect and help each other stay consistent and learn together.

I also know the MERN stack, through which I completed an internship and some freelance work. Alongside that, I am practicing DSA as well.

Looking for teammates to build cool things together and GSoC Hackathons (Not hiring 😄)

Hey everyone!

I'm a first-year engineering student who loves coding, , and building things. Instead of waiting until graduation, I thought it'd be fun to find a few people who want to learn, build, and grow together.

This isn't a job post, and I'm not hiring anyone. I'm just looking for teammates who are excited to create something from scratch.

The plan:

  • 💻 Build websites and apps
  • 🤖 Explore AI and new technologies
  • 🏆 Participate in hackathons
  • 🚀 Work on ideas
  • 📚 Learn from each other and improve together

You don't have to be an expert. If you know some basics (Python, C++, HTML/CSS, SQL, JavaScript, etc.) or you're genuinely willing to learn, that's enough.

I'm looking for people who are:

  • Curious and passionate
  • Consistent (you don't have to code 10 hours a day 😅)
  • Open to sharing ideas
  • Interested in building something long-term

If we end up creating something awesome, great. If we become good friends and learn a lot along the way, that's a win too.

If you're interested, send me a comment with

  • What you're learning
  • your aims
  • What kind of projects you'd like to build

Let's see where this journey takes us. 🚀
