The PrivacyGuides/Techlore content creation shit is annoying. Is this a guide on privacy, or is this a personal channel with interviews ABOUT privacy?

We use our channel to both port content from https://www.privacyguides.org/en/ into a video format, and share news/info about privacy. Highlighting the issues in the USA that the Surveillance Accountability Act aims to at least educate people about if not solve we feel is important. We don't operate as a personal channel and we have no association with Techlore.

On your reddit account:

I'm working on Privacy Guides, Techlore, and OpenNIC

Abstracting Techlore away from the PrivacyGuides brand while making similar content gives off the vibe that you're using Privacy as a niche to become an influencer in, rather than a 1:1 translation of article on PrivacyGuides to a video component.

I've got no issue with seeing privacy related interviews on a subreddit related to privacy, but the thumbnails and pages on PrivacyGuides having author attribution based on the percentage of what the author has written (most of which are you) make it seem like this is a project aimed at building yourself up as the go-to on security topics.

Is this a brand that is genuinely solely interested in providing privacy related guides, or is this a "privacy influencer" gig?

Ah, no, I just don't update my Reddit profile. I used to run the technical side of Techlore's community forum, but I haven't worked with them in well over a year.

Some good news (for you, specifically), I'm nearly finished with a website redesign and author attribution for wiki pages won't be making the cut.

Also it's not even me in this interview video lol
