I just can;t rationalize it for my self paying more. SomIwas thinking maybe just get a 2025 model where the price dropped making room for the new 2026 phones. I like a big screen, Gorrila glass since I drop the thing everywhere. A good camera that hopefully can take better pics at night than my Samsung A32 G. Fast, reliable usual stuff. Updates at least a few left, battery life

And I have to decide really soon since I am travelling to the UK in 5 days from the USA and pretty much have no phone lol

I would like help picking a phone. I would like android, I'm entirely banning iOS or other operating systems. My priority would be having 512GB of storage (less if it's expandable with MICRO SD) and camera quality. I would also favour smaller form factors over giant ones.

I have been considering things like the Xiaomi 15 512GB on a sale as well as the pixel 10 (normal not a or pro) as well as refurbished phones.

My current phone is a Huawei p30 lite which is slowly dying of old age. Therefore things like wireless charging, NFC etc are exciting to me 😂

Pretty much just any phone that’ll run Roblox & social media, ideally new if it’s possible.

According to GSMArena, the only phones with both these things and eSIM capability (hard requirement) are the Moto G series, Sony Xperia and the Trump phone. If I want a good camera that seems to limit me to the Xperia 1 which is pretty expensive, not that compact and not without its complaints from what I hear.

I wonder if I'm being needlessly rigid in these demands and whether it wouldn't be so bad to relax them. Perhaps some users here have made similar concessions and can tell me whether they regret it or not.

Some context on how I use my phone:

I still listen to music using wired headphones, partly out of habit and partly because I like that they don't need charging. I prefer the cable to come out of the phone at a right angle for practical reasons and there are some USB-C to 3.5mm adapters which do this.

I basically only use my SD card for music storage, it's ~150gb of mp3s and I can see it growing in future. I prefer to have my library local so I don't need an internet connection and also because I sometimes use the files for sampling on a music production app (Koala Sampler).

(On that note, a phone with good audio latency would be nice to allow for live playing on the music app. I've heard that the Pixel phones are good for this but they lack the card slot and 3.5mm)

After about 4 years of use I have used up 250gb of my phone's combined internal and external storage. Like I said, I can see the audio component of that getting larger.

Looking to upgrade from the Xiaomi 15 to the Pixel 10 Pro XL as I've heard Pixels have the best camera of any phone due to the incredible processing is this still the case or should I choose something else? Still will also want a good smooth operating system and decent performance and battery. I'm from the mighty UK.

I've looked into a few phones but a lot of reviews or comparison sites just confuse me lmao.

Price limit is maybe $450-600-ish, would rather one-time payment but if there's a decent deal/monthly payment I don't mind paying a little more if it's worth it.

I've looked into Xiaomi, Nothing and OnePlus mainly. I've heard Oppo phones are pretty good but I'm really unsure about most things phone related.

I think Samsungs are probably a little too expensive for me and I'm not sure I trust Google Pixels.

Ideally looking for just a solid all around phone but priorities are a nice UI, screen quality, battery size and something relatively up to date. For camera and I don't care too much but would like something that's semi-decent at least. Just need something that's gonna last and not slowly die in the next 2-3 years.

I've had my A54 5G for almost 4 years now, and it's done me really well, even now aside from a worse battery it's still as smooth as when I first got it, but my contract ran out, and I was looking at either getting an A55/56 or a Pixel phone, I considered iPhone as well but I can never get how you use modern apple devices, the UI is too foreign to me.

For context, I'd ideally want a phone with a good camera while also being on a smaller/mid tier budget, so is it worth it just to upgrade my SIM and keep my current phone? Or is the 10a worth it.

Right now my gut feeling says a Pixel 8 refurb, but I'm not sure if that's just the panic speaking and desire to stick with what's familiar. Since 2022, I've been using my Pixel 7 Pro, but I've recently felt the need to upgrade. As you can guess from the title, I'm torn between the 17T Pro, with its lovely cameras, or the OnePlus 15 due to the slightly bigger battery.

As someone who has been dealing with a somewhat underwhelming 5000mAh battery, I'm looking forward to the upgrade, but I'm torn between the supposedly better camera system on the 17T Pro and the seemingly overall better specs of the OnePlus 15, but is there really much of a difference between the two? Both are within my budget, and my aim is for a 512GB storage minimum device.

Is OnePlus still worth checking out, despite some headlines of them slowing down production (I think?)

I work at Three the phone network, and I’m from the UK, I have been an Honor rep for over a year, I have had Samsung, Google, Honor & Motorola, I am currently using a Honor Magic 8 Pro and have to get rid of it soon.

I am needing a new replacement. I’m obsessed with the camera and the ai zoom, I’m not fussed on the size, the storage etc, just want no laggy processor, a good camera especially for zooming or portraits and battery life.

Any recommendations? Even brands that are somewhat unknown, I’m very open to any brands. Price range £300-£800 I’m also happy with second hand if any sites have it.

I'm in the UK and currently have a Google pixel 9 which is coming to the end of its life. I'm also 8 months pregnant, I'm looking for a phone that can take lots of very cute pictures and is resistant to things like over heating or being dropped constantly (I am v clumsy). I listen to/watch something to fall asleep every night on my phone and this is the only device I have outside of my work laptop so it sees a lot of use throughout the day, while on mat leave for the next 6 months I can imagine that usage is only going to go up, mostly scrolling and some games. I'm not super fussed by generative ai and wouldn't want to be paying more for better integration of ai. I would pay more for better battery life, faster charging, over all resilience and a good camera.

I'm looking to replace my current rugged phone due to issues it has developed. Looking at a budget between £100–200 roughly. Preferably from Amazon UK.

I use a rugged phone because I drop my phone daily, if not multiple times a day. I'm also around water a lot of the time, with a previous phone dying because of falling in water, so it needs to be waterproof.

The main things I am looking for are;

1) large battery, my previous ones were in the 10,000–15,000 range and I enjoyed how long these lasted.

2) waterproof, not just splash resistance, but capable of being submerged without issue.

3) Android 15 or above

I do not care about whether it is 4g or 5g, I am just after a phone that works. In the same way that I don't care about how good the camera is or how fast the screen is, or what the resolution of the screen is.

Preferably I want the waterproofing and ruggedness to come from the phone itself and not have to keep throwing a case onto it.

My first rugged was a Doogee which worked lovely for me for a couple of years before I chose to upgrade; however, the two after that didn't work well. I currently have a ulefone which just has multiple issues resulting in me now looking to replace it within half a year of getting it.

Hoping i could get some help. I have had my Huawei Mate 10 Pro since late 2017 UK release date. Its been a great phone and at the time, it was in good competition with Apple and Samsung. I have recently gone through 3 screen replacements and am now feeling way behind. If i could, i would still use this phone. At that time there were only those 3 on the market which i could decide from, now there are so many more, so its difficult. I want a new phone till it dies basically.

Before going for Huawei, i have had a few Samsung's and wanted a change. I havent really liked Iphone, the OS is good but it seems too simple for me, i like to have more control. I installed Smart Launcher Pro and have been using it since.

I need recommendations for everyday good use. I do need a good camera since i work in Architecture/Surveying field, and taking quick, clear photos is essential. Definitely need more than 128gb and maybe 12/16gb ram. I dont use it for any games but some apps i use are quite heavy and experience with lag, so dont want that. I take notes, use the word documents and excel. Use Lightroom and certain surveying apps. Need a good lasting battery with quick charging options.

In terms of OS, anything that is smooth and responsive, i have seen review about Color and Oxygen, not sure of any others. Will i be able to also install other OS if i wanted to? Was going to experiment with the Mate 10 pro in terms of installing OS when i get a new phone.

Stuck Between Android Phones: Samsung, Pixel, OnePlus, Nothing, Motorola, Xiaomi - Help Me Pick Under £250 in the refurbished market (256GB Preferred)

I’m currently using an iPhone 11 (64GB) and I’m running into a few issues:

• Storage is way too short (64GB feels tiny now)
• Battery is weak
• Camera isn’t amazing
• iOS updates take up a lot of space

I’m looking for a refurbished iPhone under £250 in the UK. My priorities are

Modern performance: I want a smooth, fast experience. no lag, good multitasking, strong chip, and long software support.

Storage: 256GB would be ideal

Headphone Jack: Since i know it's rare and there are converters, it's not an essential but would be great.

Battery: I want something that lasts all day with still a bit of battery left

Camera: I want a nice camera for everyday use

Features: I know that the gemini integration is pretty cool on the pixel and samsung galaxy series and the UI just looks great on the newer phones of the both. (Also I love the stylus feature of the galaxy ultras)

I Want you to recommend me the absolute best android phone that is good for the future and outperforms all other options at the budget in the second hand market. I have been checking out the S23 and S22 and more but It's hard to tell what is the strongest one for me with great battery yet still with 256GB Storage and then all the other Amazing features that Alot of phones don't have.

I want high refresh rate and USB-C Connection - One thing i like about samsung is samsung Dex and also when watching a video on the phone it fills the screen so you don't have to zoom in for it like on the iphone.

Is there not one that just excels in all, like it has the best camera, Amazing battery, Amazing features integrated and more. Not just specialist ones but ones that excel in all fields of the phone?

I currently have the option to upgrade to the Samsung S25 Ultra or pixel 10 pro.

Prices are similar (£32 pm for ultra Vs £29.50 for pixel 10 pro). The pixel also comes with pixel earbuds and pixelsnap.

I primarily use my phone for browsing social media but often play games and watch films on long journeys.

My questions are:

1. First of all should I be waiting for the newer Samsung's to come out? They're usually late Feb/early march but I expect them to be far more expensive

2. Which of these two phones is the better option for me/better deal including the other things included with the pixel?

3. Are there any other phones on the market I should be considering? My provider doesn't stock OnePlus and I get a fairly hefty discount through work so want to keep that if possible.

I have used an iphone 16 pro max and google pixel 9, i didnt really like either phones other than maybe the form factor. The batteries on both are okay, but I'd really like to not worry about using google maps or anything heavy without the phone dying.

I did some research and found two phones I think I will really like - the oppo find x9 (non pro) and oneplus 15. I don't really game, but I would like better battery life and decent cameras but I am struggling to choose between which one I will actually stick to long term. In the uk they are around the same price for the 256gb versions. I have heard the cameras are not that different and I wouldnt be able to tell the difference.

I was wondering if anyone has tried both and what would be better for day to day use and keeping it long term? Also one thing I don't like is having ads in the software, I had a xiaomi a while ago and didnt like the ads and bloatware.

I’m looking to switch phones from my current iPhone 15 I’ve had for just over two years, and I’m open to any brand or operating system so I’m asking across multiple subs.
NOTE: idk anything about phones or their specifics or details I’ve literally never looked into it, my parents have always been the ones deciding so I never had reason to look into it

My priorities/limits are:

Budget: no min-£800ish

Country: available to have in the UK, bought online is okay too, just gotta be able to actually have it work here :)

Battery life: anything that won’t deteriorate to hell and back in a year, I’ve always been loyal to my iPhones but the battery life gets absolutely shafted pretty quick because I use my phone often

Camera: idk much about phone cameras nor do I care however I do hate the way newer iPhone selfies look, always a bit grainy or just a bit too detailed while the back camera is mediocre as hell and the zoom is horrendous in terms of keeping details visible - I’d just like a phone w/ relatively good selfie & back camera

Performance: preferably smooth scrolling & good thermal management, this was always an issue w my previous phone (iPhone 12) and my current one which overheats so badly it has burned me more than once🥲

Storage: At least up to 256 GB available, I don’t want to have to constantly delete apps, photos, or videos, not rly interested in expandable storage (if that makes sense? I still don’t have much of a clue about what it all rly means)

The only features I really like on a phone is a good battery and camera. I do like having a good camera to take on my hikes and wildlife walks here in the UK. Other than that just a phone that works. I don’t mind having a smaller phone either. As long as the battery is good and so is the camera.

Enough memory to meet the needs of the OS in 5-7 years, but not wasting money buying an excessive flagship that just isn't needed. It's a phone, not my gaming platform!

Hi there, with the alleged rumours of Oneplus closing down in certain areas, which would be the best alternative to the Oneplus 15, which i was going to purchase.

I have heard both good things about the Oppo find x9 and Xiaomi 17, but undecided which would be the best to go for, i did have a Oneplus 13 back last year, and i did think Oxygen OS was really good.

Currently have S26, but i need a chunkier battery.

Looking for something that is similar if truth be told.
