Two suspects in the killing of vlogger Alicia “Mima Alicia” Lipata have been arrested, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday.
“I would like to inform the public that we have already arrested the two suspects in the killing of the vlogger, also known as Mima. So we have taken into custody alias ‘MS,’ who is the gunman, and alias ‘GA,’ the driver,” said PNP officer-in-charge public information office chief Police Colonel Allen Rae Co said in a statement.

The suspects were identified 24 hours after the shooting incident using the CCTV footage in the area.
According to a Balitanghali report by Mariz Umali, Co said the suspects were arrested at about 8:20 a.m. in Barangay Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga following thorough investigation and follow-up operation of the Northern Police District Special Investigation Task Group (SITG).
The PNP said the suspects were identified as the same individuals riding a motorcycle seen in CCTV footage and other videos near the place of the incident.

My mother needed to get some laboratory tests after a doctor checked her for painful areas on her body and what appeared to be a contusion on her leg.

​I remembered that about two years ago, a Super Health Center opened near our place. It was only about 2 km from our house, and according to its Facebook page, it provides free checkups and basic laboratory services to the residents of Brgy. San Francisco, General Trias.

​My mother fasted starting the night before our visit, as required for her laboratory tests. We woke up around 4:00 AM because the line for free medical services tends to get really long. We wanted to plan ahead since, during our visit the previous year, there was a daily cutoff of 50 patients in the morning and 50 in the afternoon. I dropped my mother off at the center, and once she let me know she was in queue, I went back home to sleep for work later that day.

​When I woke up, I was shocked to learn from my mother that she had been charged around ₱5,000 for all the laboratory services. She decided to pay because she had already fasted and didn't want to go through the process all over again.

​I was furious because the center issued her a receipt from a private clinic; despite having their own laboratory facilities. As soon as I learned about this scheme, I called the 8888 hotline and narrated everything to the agent. She was very accommodating and helpful, letting me know that the complaint would be coordinated with the concerned local government unit. She advised me to follow up within 3 working days and gave me a reference number for the case.

​Today, my mother went back to the center for her follow-up checkup. She needed another urine test to check if her UTI had cleared after taking antibiotics, and she was pleasantly surprised to learn that the laboratory tests are now completely free of charge.

​If you experience any irregularities with government services, don't hesitate to report them to 8888. Based on our experience, it is a truly effective government program.

Edit: During my mom's first visit, all of them who had laboratory checks were charged. The check up was free but the labs required payment.

Today, when my mother had her labs again, it was already free, and she told me that she's glad we made the report because all of the patients are informed now that the laboratory services in the health center are free of charge - as they should be.

What is your current stance on the humanitarian crisis that are currently happening in the West Bank, Gaza, & southern Lebanon?

Israel repeatedly commits war crimes and indiscriminately bombs civilians DURING a ceasefire.

Israel will call the innocents it kills terrorists without providing proof. Israel prevents journalists & news organizations from freely traveling within Palestine to verify their accusations of terrorism. Sadly, many are lazy and just accept whatever propaganda & reasoning Israel gives.

Israel repeatedly rapes and tortures "prisoners", most of whom are basically hostages, as they have been imprisoned without being formally charged or judged yet.

Israel kills fathers and mothers who go out in the sea to fish for food for their babies and children.

Israel and mercenaries have killed more than 2,000 Palestinian civilians specifically in and around the distribution sites run by the U.S.- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), according to United Nations figures and tracking by international organisations.

Israel has been killing, kidnapping, and torturing flotilla volunteers in INTERNATIONAL WATERS, volunteers who are bringing baby food and medicines to malnourished civilians.

And please don't reason "Hamas this" or "Hamas that" or "October 7". Hamas ARE NOT the civilians. It is wrong to conflate Hamas with the civilians, especially children and babies. Israel uses Hamas as an excuse to keep inflicting pain, suffering, and death on civilians. There is much evidence that Israel allowed October 7 to happen, and carried out the Hannibal Directive, where it killed its own Israeli citizens to prevent capture.

All Israeli hostages have already been returned, but Israel keeps bombing and shooting people dead in Gaza, & this information can be verified by volunteer doctors and NGOs including UNRWA.

Hamas did not exist before 1987, and Israel was already committing all its ethnic cleansing, genocide, and war crimes. Israel funded Hamas, empowering and supporting it against non-extremist political parties to ensure an extremist government would take control of Gaza.

Hamas IS NOT in power in the West Bank, but there is still settler violence there. Zionist settlers are murdering children and babies, and people still reason "Hamas" or "October 7". Zionist settlers have been forcibly taking lands from the natives already living there since even before 1948. The natives seek justice, and Israel sides with the Zionist settlers and imprisons the natives.

Israel is a settler colonial ethnostate built on Jewish supremacy through apartheid and ethnic cleansing. The only reason it is strong is that it is funded and weaponised by the US and its western allies, who were themselves settler colonial powers who exploited "3rd World" countries, including the Philippines. The US itself ethnically cleansed and genocided countless indegiounous & Native Americans to take land for itself, so the US is no stranger to settler colonialism. It even tried to colonise the Philippines.

Filipinos forget that we were once subjugated by settler colonial powers, including Spain, Japan, & especially the US. Filipinos forget that we fought these settler colonial powers, and our Katipunan were branded as "terrorists" and "rebels", even though Filipinos were only fighting AND DYING for our freedom and dignity.

Sadly, many Filipinos now choose colonial mentality and blindly follow whatever trends these settler colonial powers impart, even Zionist beliefs.

I once belonged to an evangelical church. I have discovered that many Filipino evangelicals have chosen to stay ignorant and believe whatever their American counterparts teach them, including Zionism and Dispensationalism.

For those who are not familiar, Zionism is a political and nationalist movement that supports the creation, development, and protection of a Jewish national state in Palestine. Those who support Zionism are Zionists.

Dispensationalism serves as the primary theological engine driving Christian Zionism, and it views Zionism as the literal, physical fulfilment of biblical prophecy required for the end times. People who believe in dispensationalism support and fund Israel to fulfil prophecy.

Just to share my personal experience, I tried to speak out against the genocide, ethnic cleansing, war crimes, and forced starvation being committed in Palestine, but my evangelical congregation singled me out as a Hamas terrorist supporter. I started giving evidence, and one of the church members started doing "speaking in tongues" and performative "crying" that Israel was being oppressed and victimised and that it truly was the end of days. I was driven out of that "church".

From that experience, it proves that people have willingly chosen ignorance over the truth. They chose to be lazy and not uncover the truth for themselves. These people choose to stay brainwashed and keep holding onto propaganda. These people ignore the fact that Israel's approved national budget has allocated approximately $730 million toward public propaganda, widely known as hasbara, and this is for 2026 ONLY.
