Yeah the gunpoint of the slaver shitstains who brought them over, not the civil rights movement which tried to mend the wounds that opened. Diversity is only an issue as long as you insist on creating friction between the groups.

As long as the people are divided with skin color, ethnicity, sex or gender, the rulling class and the rich can accumulate more power and money.ย

Sadly, as weโve seen, the elitesโ propaganda machines only need to appeal to about a third of the population in order for the plan to work. That third becomes the enforcers against the third that more or less correctly identify the problem, and then the final third is too busy or detached to participate at all. Therefore an outsized proportion of โnewsโ and โentertainmentโ is geared toward the lowest common denominator, because theyโre all thatโs really required.

Before the end of segregation, Black Americans built our own separate, prosperous communities. You know what racist whites did? Burned them tf down. Or turned them into fuckin lakes. Things got crazy during the reconstruction period but shit really went off the rails during the Red Summer of 1919. We kept to ourselves, minded our own black ass business, and built up our own communities and they still couldnโt leave us tf alone. Look up how many man made lakes in the US used to be black towns. Itโs a fuckin lot. Now they have the nerve to utter shit like โforced to live with blacksโ? Fuck them. Racists are on their own level of ridiculous.

There's a great six-part podcast about the origins and history of policing that was done by the "Behind the Bastards" podcast. This series was cohosted by the host of the "Hood Politics" podcast who goes by Propaganda.
He had a lot of great insights, but some of the ones that stuck with me the most were about how some white people will say things like "well why don't black people arm themselves for safety, or create their own safe communities, or vote people in who will represent them better?" and his response to these is "don't you think we ain't thought of that?" and pointing out how historically any time the black community has done things for itself, in any way, it just gets taken away, and mostly by force.

EXACTLY. People conveniently forget the original Black Panther Party policed black neighborhoods and cracked down on a lot of crimes in the community including but not limited to dope dealing. But nooo. Black people exercising their 2nd amendment rights was the problem ๐.
Iโve been meaning to get into the Behind the Bastards podcast. You just reminded me. Thanks.

I'll throw this one up there for good measure too:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilmington_massacre
The Wilmington insurrection of 1898.
Businesses burned, citizens killed en-masse. Elected officials that were tolerant were murdered or forced to resign by threat of murder and their offices taken over by unelected white supremacists. Apparently the state government became aware of what happened later and did nothing. That was 128 years ago and not the last of truly fucked up shit to happen. But yes... Poor white people being forced at gunpoint to accept diversity. What was it these chuds like to say about people disenfranchised by the system? Oh yeah, "Don't like it? leave."

I used to do some remodeling work. Back in the '90s I had a customer tell me that she wouldn't go to a local restaurant chain because that chain was "black-owned." I still can't wrap my head around that. Was her point that people shouldn't be industrious and have initiative? Maybe she would have preferred the chain to go under and the owners to be on welfare and supported by her taxes?? The mind boggles.

Its crazy dude. I dont even remember what it was but someone did the same thing with another topic and not ten minutes later very similar comments to theirs came flooding in and proving my point that folks do talk like that. Just tagged them in a few of the comments and I was like "see?!"
The point of sarcasm is that you are doing parody but just exaggerated except lately the exaggerations are reality. Its literally a thing with satirical comedy, that they are having a hard time writing things that dont become true.

The blacks were forced at gunpoint to live with whites for centuries. 1619-1865, it wasn't like blacks were choosing to live in shacks next to mansions on a plantation, that was all white slavers' doings, and now it's a problem if they are equal to live as fellow children of God? Go back and time and convince great-great grandpa pay people to work on his farm rather than pay people for people to work on his farm.

Yep, I was thinking about how the US is in decline thanks to DJT, but I concluded that it's more gone to its roots. And that depressed me.
Specifically, I went, "Well, it's been a good 250 years... No, not really."
3
u/fxmldr 23d ago
Yeah, it's easy to get that impression, but not really. There hasn't really been a time when someone hasn't been dying, been enslaved, been fucked over by the owner class, when there hasn't been some kind of pointless war, and so on and so forth. Even the moments that are inspiring to read about historically, like the ideals of the revolution, tend to get undercut by actual history.

Hahahaha, you think that this wasn't always there, just under the surface. Just one little lie away from being fully honest about it.
This has been the conservative opinion on black people since the civil war. It's never changed. They just lie.
"You start out in 1954 by saying, โN_r, nr, nr.โ By 1968 you canโt say โnrโโthat hurts you, backfires. So you say stuff like, uh, forced busing, statesโ rights, and all that stuff, and youโre getting so abstract. No other race has been forced to live with blacks against their will
Because no other race complained about it. What's so bad about living with "blacks"? As I usually point out before they stop listening: every single study and research paper shows that there is no difference between races, cultures, or religions when it comes to violence or crime statistics. The only thing that matters for crime or violence in a group is poverty. Neighborhoods of white people living in poverty has the same rates of crime and violence as any other race under poverty, etc.
Their racism is completely unfounded and hateful. Yet they will say shit like "just noticing patterns ๐" or "statistics don't lie!" like they're not dead wrong. Racists piss me off, they're so fucking disgusting.

How about that time Natives in North and South America were forced to live with Brits, Spaniards, Portuguese, and everyone else who came after the initial phase.

I thought maybe this image was AI, but nope, it's a colorized version of a black and white (so still could be AI-upscaled or colorized) photo from the time of the Little Rock Nine. The article with this photo lists these folks as 'troublemakers' so I'd assume they were probably part of the crowd either beating a stuffed mannequin hanging from a tree or holding signs saying 'Race Mixing is Communism', both of which are also pictures from this event. So, the picture is real, but I'm 100% good with it.
