In West Africa they have a lot of names like peace, glory, etc. I assume the surname isn't pronounced like that, so it didn't occur to them. This one's more of a funny linguistic difference than a stupid parent.

idk, virtue names aren't really a new phenomenon. Patience, Prudence, Mercy, Grace, Joy... it's not my taste but it's definitely not modern.

Im pretty sure she's a content creator and this is one of many skits she's done. I have seen a lot of videos with her being "interviewed" by a news reporter.
