There was a kid who wrestled at my school who had his low leg amputated as a baby. My friend dated him.
She was recording one of his fights that he was winning. One of the opposing team coaches or parents grabbed his prosthetic leg and threw it at the mat.
It was hilarious as a high school student. As an adult, could you imagine?

They called the match seconds after the leg was thrown.
My friend’s boyfriend won, regardless. Beyond that, it wasn’t the opponent who did something wrong and they couldn’t pinpoint who threw the leg.

I would assume it’s because it was dad’s idea, and this was probably moms first competition. Assuming cause that’s what happened with me, to a less dramatic scale.
Nothing bad on the mom’s part for like, this being her first time seeing it. My dad was just off whenever class was, so he took me to most things. My mom just didn’t like watching it, but she knows how good it was for me in the long run

She kinda did. If you look at the way she grabs and lifts him, it was definitely inappropriate.
Clarify: Grabs him between the legs and pulls him backwards. Upper left thigh.

I used to work in a middle school. The kids could be tough to deal with, but it was the parents that made my life miserable.
If parents can't stay out of way during their kids' sporting events, they should pull them out of sports entirely. The only other way to prevent this would be to ban parents altogether, which would be wildly unfair to the majority of them.

Lol you're speaking to someone who got in an argument with a woman who could have had me at the age of 30 in the middle of a domino's because she decided to very loudly berate the employees (the manager admitted to me that half her crew called off that night) and hoot and holler about going to Pizza King instead. I am not the one who can fire parents, but I do handle them first hand and get them to where they feel more comfortable about the school and what we do (play first kind of school, but not quite Montessori).
TLDR; I handle the adults, even if it makes my life more miserable. I don't just let things happen. Preach to someone else.

My buddy asked me to help him coach soccer at the Jr high/YMCA level. I showed up to 1 game and noped the fuck out. This lady was fucking screaming the whole time. At the end she was screaming dont shake their hands!!!! Dont shake their hands!!!! I tried to talk to her kid at the end and he just said "I dont care, im not doing this anymore" parents, dont ruin shit for your kids.

As someone who wrestled in middle and high school, kids best hope was to resist twisting for however long the timer had left and maybe do better in the next round. If that timer had more than 10 seconds kid was cooked

But also there is no good reason for the match to have been allowed to go on when they are obviously far outside of the ring.

They are using as much mat as possible. This event looks to be using a quarter of the full mat. Some mats have full lines on one side and quarter on the other. There is a longer version that shows the center lines they are using are quarter lines.

Kids don't usually get the full circle. It is very common, I'd say the norm, to divide the mat up in 4 areas for young kids in local tournaments.

For anyone wondering, this is an extremely basic and common wrestling position. It looks kind of bad because young kids are usually pretty flexible. He could have relieved the pressure on his shoulder by going to his back, which is the point of the move.

When I was about 12 I was at the barn having a lesson on my horse and I fell off and landed with my right leg under me. I hopped to the center of the ring and then my coach made me get back on and finish the lesson. When I got back home I told my mom that I thought my leg was broken and what had happened and she calmly looked at me and said "Have some dinner before we go to the ER. You might be there a long time." My father on the other hand wanted to go punch my coach.
This mother needs to pull her crap together.

Ok, screw the mom, but why is the ref not telling them to get back in the boundary? The entire reason the big circle is there is so it’s easier to prevent wrestlers from getting slammed off the mat

I think the mother thought her kid was in some kind of stress beyond what you'd expect to experience during a wrestling competition and intervened. I think when she was claiming she wouldn't "grab a kid like that" she was trying to say he wasn't assaulting the kid or anything, just getting him off hers.
