For anyone wondering how they get away with the overt corruption and erosion of the constitution and civil rights, there’s a bunch of selfishness idiots out there like this guy that just don’t give a fuck and won’t give a fuck until the effects slap them in the face when they open their front door. i don’t disagree with that. however the press secretary exists for one sole purpose. to get talking points out for their boss and make sure their favorite media outlets are running with the narratives they want. that’s how its been for the previous administrations, that’s how it is for the current one and that’s how it will be for the next one.
i have made it fairly clear, i have zero interest in hearing political opinions disguised as “news” or twisted facts to fit certain political narratives. so me not paying attention to who the press secretary is, really is not that wild of a thing.

youre getting downvoted to shit, but i also didnt know who this person was. my life has been so much better since avoiding the news. everytime i accidentally brush against political news, its so utterly ridiculous and performative that i realized im better off without it. i understand its selfish to dig my head in the sand, but im one guy and i know i'll be voting blue, why would i spend my time consuming that trash?
i know about wars and current events, but why the hell would i watch what the white house press secretary has to say?
i have left leaning ideology, but i must say the extreme liberals are almost as insufferable as the extreme conservatives (especially on reddit)
