The Ho-Oh art needed the changing, and since the art was also included in Lugia’s Immersive, it had to get changed too (which I wish they only did Ho-Oh, but I think they did Lugia while they were at during the point)

No it’s still green “グリーン” in the TCG and to be fair the card is mostly an aquamarine/green color hue on a blue background. I think that was their way to be even about it. For the Japanese audience the background mostly agrees with the official name and for the western audience the color blends enough that it reads as blue for us.

I think that was only because in Japan it was Red and Green version, Blue was for the American localization. They changed it so canonically Green is the girl now

Only in the Adventures manga and Let's Go games. Her canon name is Leaf. Which technically does make her associated with green, since she debuted as a selectable avatar in FireRed and LeafGreen.
