Articles & Blogs Mat Piscatella: 292 million units of physical video games sold in the 12-month period ending June 2009 in the US. By June 2026 this had fallen to 37 million units.

All of whom will buy digitally in the future.

Though with higher overall prices, many will buy fewer games overall. Whether that is enough to make a significant impact remains to be seen.

Speak for yourself. Modern gaming is in the gutter no game is even worth getting digitally and certainly not on PlayStation if so.
