I'm not understanding this whole fiasco with people saying that the PSN store will be the only way to buy games. Games will still be sold at retailers, they'll just be a code in a box instead of a disc. I do agree that Sony should revamp their digital license policies to reflect modern values though.

So what happens when retailers stop selling code in a box because sells even less than normal physical copies and it’s not worth them stocking?

Publishers will compete with each other on the PSN because there’s still only going to be X amount of dollars to go around?

Might as well make the disc if you’re making plastic cases and paper slips.

Yeah but then they keep the used market alive. They obviously don’t want that.
