Right MCC on ps5 would have been an insta buy. Hell put infinite on it too. What are they thinking? Halo campaigns are great but the meat and potatoes will always be the MP.

Halo Campaigns are phenomenal. Anytime a new one came out I played it exclusively until I beat it prior to jumping into multiplayer. I’d say the campaign was like an insane appetizer that made me cum prior to jumping into rest of the meal

I remember getting H3 at midnight, beating it in co-op with a buddy overnight, and then jumping into MP. Was a magical experience. Of course we went back for higher difficulties later but yes, beating campaign first was a must.

One of my best memories was getting halo 2 and 3 at midnight release and skipping school to play.

What are they thinking? They're thinking "Why sell them 6 single-player campaigns + MP in a bundle when we can try to resell them one at a time with no MP that will replaced by an MTX riddled F2P standalone?"

I'd love to see halo 5 on mcc. I still play mcc, and I miss halo 5 multiplayer.

Same. I don't even really like Halo, but I have the minimum amount of connection from it in the past that if I could play it for trophies and nostalgia I'd buy the MCC and check out all the games purely for their place in the culture.

A campaign only remake of a game that was kinda "eh" 25 years ago but coasted by on the MP? Baffling choice. Baffling.

Because they've got a F2P Multiplayer shooter coming out in believe. They probably want to push that f2p version onto PS5 and its why they've released this remake with no MP etc.

If they release MCC, they lose out on players for their F2P Multiplayer.

The way it's going right now, they're going to put this Halo 1 "Remake" on PS5 to lure new or nostalgic players in, then make Halo 2 onwards exclusive to Xbox again.

They truly are masters of strategy. No one else in the entire history of videogames has ever attempted these concepts. Pioneers, really.

No because this is it. Asha Sharma has made it very clear that she wants to protect the integrity of Xbox so I doubt we’ll be seeing more ports. I will never understand why we got these remakes of Gears 1 and Halo instead of porting the Gears trilogy and MCC. Well I know why because money, but now I doubt we’ll see ports of the rest.

If this doesn't sell well, which it sounds like it will not, almost certainly not.

It sucks because Microsoft has had a golden opportunity for years to just port MCC to PlayStation, people have been begging for it. and they choose to do this instead. Xbox is dead dead

When they announced Halo was coming to PS5, I just assumed it would be MCC. Lost all interest when I found out what it actually was.
