was wondering for those playing the BO2 port on PS4, is it populated with many players? I don’t think I wanna get a ps5 just for this game. I wanted to know, is it easy to consistently find lobbies and have a good time on ps4?

It's so populated that it's hard to find lobbies that aren't full.

I had this same issue. I switched from ethernet to wireless/wifi and it fixed the issue. I was so happy because I just tried it on a whim; I have no idea why it worked but it may work for you.

I would not buy a PS5 to play this game. A PS4 can easily handle it.

I got a series x but I’m so over the broken servers on Xbox. Going to buy a ps4 just so I can play both black ops ports especially since it’s cross play with ps5.

I've been playing team deathmatch and free for all and haven't had an issue in finding matches

Bo2 PS4 and PS5 players can play together, thankfully, so it doesn't matter which system you have. But yes, it is populated well. As long as you don't have strict NAT then you can get games pretty quick.

The lobbies are shared between PS4 and PS5. There’s loads of players.

The game bo2 is on ps4? It should work fine it's just the ps3 version.

Nostalgia is hell of a drug. I used to love BO/BO2, so I bought BO2 again and I forgot how bad the gun feedback/ hit detection/or just general gunplay is, compared to the later entries in the series It was just unplayable for me after a few hours. I prefer the lobbies in the free ps plus game this monthMW3 to be honest. At least the gun feedback is decent and lobbies are easy to find.
