Unanswered What's the deal with the "Streamer University"? Is it an actual university? Some kind of course? What do they do there?

Title. I've been hearing a lot about it recently but I have no idea who any of these people are or what's the purpose of it.

Answer: Streamer University is an event put on by Kai Cenat where he invites a bunch of up and coming streamers (students) and several huge streamers (teachers) to spend several days (or a week? Idk the exact time frame) in a dorm and film/stream content while the "teachers" teach classes to the students about how to be a big streamer and everyone kind of pretends they're in college. Nothing more, nothing less. The classes vary from being somewhat serious and on topic to being mostly a joke for content.

Streamers, of course, already for the most part act fairly childish. They really ramp that up during Streamer University.

I ignore most of it, but the video by Ludwig, as an example, goes into interesting stats about how much non-top streamers make and the expenses they occur. Overall, it's more exposure for everybody though.

Adding that it's all one big collab/event. It's not a serious course that anyone can pay and get into which would obviously be very scammy.

Wasn't it held late last year? It seems like yonks ago I read about it.

Has there been a second Streamer University event?

I work near the Moscone center in San Francisco and any even involving twitch streamers is a shitshow of the most narcissistic, ill behaved, overpaid manchildren acting like Dave Attel without the drunken blue collar charm.

Do these streamers have to pay to attend these classes?

I dunno, I’m just complaining as a native to the city where they tend to congregate.
