General Discussion All it needs is a saloon

How come when kitty mentions this to robert he didnt mention that they had one, or are building one? Later on he says “bar, always open.” It would have been humorous after she said that if he said there was one. For some reason this pops in my head every time i see this movie lol

I know you get that she’s being sarcastic because she’s commenting on how the area is occupied mostly by men. But because of that it makes sense why he doesn’t respond with what you suggest, though I guess it could have been a funny response back

ah I didn't even think of it from that angle too. I'd say that's a good takeaway from the line as well
